Set 17 Comps
TFT Flow's tier list shows the strength of compositions with specific conditions (e.g: Artifacts). Comps are assigned a base tier -- this is a measurement of how strong the comp typically is without any specific conditions.
Strong conditions modify a comp's tier and can make an unplayable comp meta. As such, the same comp can exist in different tiers with different conditions. Consider using the filter controls to search for conditions you find in-game to discover the best lines for your spot.

Please add the openers with explanations as you did with the last set! It helped explain so many more concepts to me.
Yes please!
Love the site, but the past few days the site has been loading slow or is that just me?
Same thing happened to today but cleared itself out itsems.
There was an issue with cacheing that occurred due to an incomplete update. Effectively the server was getting blasted with hundreds to thousands of more requests and database queries than it normally handles, bogging down the server. It should be okay now.
u have anima as the placeholder for emblems but dont have an anima comp with emblem
There is no Anima comp with emblems. You can play Anima into any “Default” line on the home page. As a heads up, this is basically how every lose streak trait in TFT’s history has worked too — You can play them into whatever default line you are closest to based on items.
liss cho has to be added
Have you given Liss 3 + Cho 3 reroll a look? it’s usually stronger as WTW Lissandra 4 but i’ve seen it stomp in games.
Thanks for keeping this updated for 17.3. The conditional tiering is super helpful, especially for comps like Brawler Yi, Dark Star, Meeple Corki and Vanguard Bard where the spot matters a lot.
I was comparing a few of these lines with live stat pages and wrote down some notes here:

Would love to know if you usually rank around average placement/top-4 rate, or more around capped board strength.
Hi Blue,
First off, just wanted to thank you for the website and all the details you poured into it. Really helps a casual like me get a feel for meta changes from patch to patch. Just wanted to ask, for the tier list, are you ranking these comps by win out or top four consistency, and which would you emphasize more?
New Recruit augment is bugged atm, doesn’t give the team size. Watch out gamers :’)
Great guides !!!
I just wanted to say thank you. I can’t imagine how much effort it took to create those detailed guides.
make a vex fast 9 with sona alternative carry
Uploaded a new video for the B-Patch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAd3-L0XFgc
Made a major change to the home page: No comps in “Default” category. Every comp is conditional. You need to check your Stargazer, Psionic item, and ideally your Arbiter every game. Look for Emblem augments to get direction. Ideal openers are Primordian, Timebreaker, and Anima as usual. Anima opens up the possibility of Mecha and Anima reroll (need to be uncontested Viktor for that). Fast 9 requires good tempo and econ augments, and even if you make it to the level 9 boards you need at least 1 combat augment usually to win out. The big lesson is that every comp is conditional and you need to know what those conditions are to perform well.
B-Patch is live. It’s not minor, so it will take some time to figure out how it affects the meta.
B-Patch announced (naturally right after I finish recording lmao). Will nerf a few dominant carries and remove some of the problematic augments that are causing 3-star 4-costs. Expect updates some time after the patch goes live.
Recorded a YouTube guide for the patch for anyone who values that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCW3KYdvi1U
EDIT: Fixed. The A-Patch changes show under “PBE” currently. Not sure they actually got added to the live client so they might be updated by the server and hence why it is not showing in Live data. This is not a bug on the site’s behalf though so no issues.
Working on excluding the “addition” changes that happen on X.1 patches (when a set gets added to the database for the first time, triggering a bunch of changes for every entity in the set). Until I fix this, you’ll see the “Patch Changes” section showing every single entity in that comp which is obviously not desired behavior so give me some time to sort it out.
Love the website, but it seems a little broken; when filtering the search for the space groove trait, it’ll only show bronze for life viktor. In fact it might show literally all trait searches for the viktor comp lol
Thanks for reporting this. It’s fixed now. The problem was that when I saved a comp, traits were not properly storing in the database. The latest comp to get saved would correctly write its traits to a file used by this page, but not to the database. When the next comp was saved, it would write to the file and all other comps would rely on the database, but there was nothing in the database so only the latest comp would have trait data. That’s why Viktor was the only comp to match when you searched originally. And for the record, the Viktor trait matches were correct (e.g: Space Groove coming from Nami) since it just checks if the trait is active at all. Appreciate you reporting this, would not have noticed this myself for a while most likely.
I can’t wait for the overly to come . the insight you provide are game changing!!
So good
