Set 16 Comps
TFT Flow's tier list shows the strength of compositions with specific conditions (e.g: Artifacts). Comps are assigned a base tier -- this is a measurement of how strong the comp typically is without any specific conditions.
Strong conditions modify a comp's tier and can make an unplayable comp meta. As such, the same comp can exist in different tiers with different conditions. Consider using the filter controls to search for conditions you find in-game to discover the best lines for your spot.

I sincerely hope you see this Mr. GM BOSS BLUE – for the first time I feel like a lot of your expalnations/analyses have higher value than all cookie cutter advice from other TFT websites (tfacademy for example). You are injecting your own logic such as swapping from 7 bilge to 3 for graves etc. in addition to other strategies. I am sure I am not the only one who feels like this website has actually become BETTER than all the other ones because of their lack of effort on doing additional analyses + strategies. Keep up the great work, also hope to see you make a comeback someday if possible 😀
I have seen it 🙂 I see every comment across the entire website. Appreciate the kind words, although TFT Academy is a great resource for many reasons so I encourage you to use both sites. Sometimes their guides are more recent / updated, sometimes mine are. If you use both, you can get the best of both worlds.
Are we gonna add the Sona J4 reroll? I’ve been seeing it in most of the lobbies for the past 2 weeks
https://www.reddit.com/r/TeamfightTactics/comments/1prp8k7/challenger_sona_reroll_guide/
Added Sona reroll, but not the Anivia version. See people actually playing the Demacia version in high elo, don’t see anyone playing around Anivia.
Can we add nidalee main carry to the guide? works best with aug that give 6 neeko early. had success on master lobbies

It’s a bit too situational in my opinion. If you high roll a bunch of Neekos or hit Worth the Wait II / Caretaker’s Ally Neeko, then yes you can play toward some Nidalee line which is cool. But to me this just reads as typical Swain Shyvana Neeko Vi Seraphine Azir Shurima with Nidalee. Which is kind of what the Ixtal board shows now anyway. It’s less of a comp in my mind and more of a “okay I got Nidalee for free, now I can play her with the typical SSVN package”.
Reksai rr, GP fast 8 when?
Added GP fast 8 since it’s a real line that should be played in some of your games. Rek’Sai … I don’t want to bother doing research on a line that is complete trash lol. Maybe next patch.
Im just a tockers trial player and its more funny to do this mode with comp here
Did you saw Reksai rr?
The best tft strats page i have ever seen.
So much insight and explanation.
thank you very much youre doing gods work
The Nine Lives Prismatic Augment seems kinda strong right now.
I’ve been playing it like below and winning almost every time:
1. You can loss streak the first stage and you’ll get about 25 gold (8 gold cash and 17 gold in units). On the fifth loss you get a 4 cost unit, which you can build around.
2. Since we don’t need to save hp (a loss losses you 1 of your 9 lives), no need to slam items while loss streaking the first stage. Hold to see which 4 cost you get.
3. The tricky part is round 3-1/3-2. If you do not have the items for your four cost or someone is playing hard into the comp your 4 cost would fit best in, a pivot may be necessary. Also, you may not have the low cost units to pair with your 4 cost, so again, as always, some flexibility is needed.
4. If you are not too unlucky, you’ll have your 4 cost and decent items for them. This carries you through stage 3. If you are unlucky, scout the board and find an uncontested comp (comps at set in stone at this point but you’ll have a good idea; I tend to go Ionia, Demacia, or Noxus, whatever is not being played, but depends). Even if the 4 cost does not fit the comp, with the right items they can still carry stage 3.
5. There’s always a player who is quite strong, so maybe you drop a loss or two in stage 3. This gives you an extra item and a reforger. Regardless, by 3-2/3-3 you should be quite strong. Side note: There’s a strong argument for losing all the way down until two lives, but I’m not comfortable doing that xD. I try to stay at three lives.
6. From stage 4 on you just play a normal game (push for level 9 or stabilise at 8). If you have played it right and haven’t rolled seriously bad RNG, your board should be strongest or second strongest in your lobby. From here the loot you get from losing is varied. Whatever you get, it helps strengthen your board a bit more, although there’s nothing super broken.
7. The bonus on top is that if multiple people get knocked out in a round, you’ll always be highest ranked, because your life moves from 1 to 0. And unless someone is seriously high-rolling, you’ve got good chances for first.
I find Lichbane good on Kai’sa and stats seem to confirm it.
Do you agree or is there are reason to not list it as so?
Thx for this amazing site as always
not the site owner but she’s mana locked so it’s not optimal. It’s better on someone like Azir who can stack seraph’s safely from the back.
Thx for the reply! You are right, she is manalocked, worked fine by me but I was already ahead of the curve, so must have been that…
Thx again stranger!
i need form jhin carry admin 🙁
Yeah this website is insane, low key doing gods work here for all tft players
I am so glad i found you man. this website is perfect. youre a legend
Amazing job man, this is exactly what i was looking for, really compact and show all possible lines to play from ‘x’ spot, never seen smt like this on tft scene, keep it up.
I love this site and am all for you getting your bag, but im being inundated with full screen pop up ads, its becoming a frustration to the point of me not even wanting to use the site. Full screen pop up ad for the sports game. not even kidding it comes back every 15-30 seconds, sometimes faster. I manually exit, try leaving it up for a little, even click on the ad. Nothing works. It. Keeps. Coming. Back. Yes, I could use adblock or screenshot or something. But from a “consumer” or “end user” experience, I should be able to actually USE the site, not have to play ad click close minigame while i’m trying to climb. So frustrating! That being said, thanks for all the work you put in!
If it’s full screen, that’s not intended and it would help if you reported the ad and also posted a screenshot in Discord so I can contact my ad agency. Sometimes there are certain ad providers that either “lie” or have a “bug” where they sell an ad that claims it is a certain size, but then they use a different one when actually serving it. Nothing I can do about it or the ad agency can do about it other than to blacklist the provider, so it would help if you reported it and providing me a screenshot on Discord also helps for me to see exactly what is happening. Sorry for your experience!
thx
hi gm. Thanks so much for ur effort. u truly taught me the core idea of playing tft. BTW have u ever heard of rerolling bard to play tepo in stage 2 and 3 so that u can better shift to legendary comp. please check it out if available
Video is up for B-patch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqXLXvsv_lI
Tryndamere/Ashe is seemingly looking fairly playable in the meta right now, suggest checking it out as I saw it was missing on the tierlist!
Good timing lol, was in process of building the comp as I saw your comment. It’s up now 🙂
a comp to try in set 16 is zaun trynd. it’s pretty much just a zaun emblem trynd, 3 freljord, and the rest zaun. it goes kindas hard
I am a player who really enjoys one tricking, and am trying to figure out what I want to play this set. What comps would you most recommend for a one or two trick this set?
The best to one trick so far is yordles playing fast 8 to capitalize with bundle rewards
Uploaded a day 1 meta guide to the set. Obviously the most accurate meta will always be the website, but if you like hearing basic info about how to play these lines, the video should be helpful even if the actual rankings change: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnH7J_D2-aw
