Tips & Tricks
  • The core concept of Mel flex is to play Mel + Swain + Noxus unit + Disruptor + Neeko + Vi + Shyvana + 2 slots. Those 2 remaining slots usually change depending on your 3rd Noxus unit
  • For example, let’s say the 3rd Noxus unit is Sion. You can pair Sion with Kobuko + Zilean. Or possibly Volibear + Senna.
  • Another example is if the 3rd Noxus unit is Draven, you can pair Draven with Kindred and then play any flex unit such as Senna. There are many options available, including keeping Ambessa on your board so you can play Fiddlesticks
  • The flex “no trait” slot is usually Senna, but that might change based on patch. Any generically strong 5-cost, Taric, or Skarner can typically fit into that slot.

Active: Detonate orbs on target, causing a 3 hex radius explosion that deals 1000/1500/10000 (scaleAP Icon) magic damage to them and 500/750/10000 (scaleAP Icon) damage to all other enemies hit.

Dragon’s Descent: Transform into a dragon, gaining 600/1000/9999 max Health. Briefly gain 20/20/90% Durability and dive-bomb into the largest group of enemies, dealing 100/150/3000 (scaleAD Icon) physical damage in a 3 hex circle.

Flame Breath: Breath fire in a cone for 3.5 seconds, dealing 185/280/13579 (scaleAD IconscaleAP Icon) physical damage each second to enemies hit.
Economy Strategy
  1. Without econ augment, fast 9 is almost impossible without win-streak.
  2. Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
  3. Level to 5, unless on 3-loss streak.
  4. Level to 6 if on 4+ win streak (scout to see if necessary in high elo) or can stay above 40g.
  5. Level to 6, unless you would go below 30g. If you have to stay level 5 due to low gold (rare), then level to 6 on 3-5.
  6. Level to 7 if you can stay above 30g, otherwise stay level 6.
  7. Level to 7, or 8 if you can stay above 30g.
  8. Level to 8. Main difference from Fast 8 is how much you roll on 8. Ideally you are high HP and don’t need to roll at all. Otherwise, roll for acceptable board and accumulate gold afterward.
  9. Level to 9 if you are rich enough to roll 40g+. Generally only possible with economy augment or encounter.
  10. Level to 9 if you can roll 40g+ or if low HP.
  11. Level to 9 and roll for important 5-costs. For the remainder of game, roll until you hit your 2 star itemized units. Can consider level 10 after hitting.
