  • Xin Zhao turns into Zaahen after 5 combats of having him 3 starred (so you’ll usually have Zaahen at some point in Stage 5).
  • Currently 2 main versions: Ionia or Demacia. The Ionia version has a much higher player rate and can 3 star Yasuo with Xin Zhao.

Grab target and slam them forward, dealing 220/350/9999 (scaleAP Icon) + 3%/9%/900% (scaleAP Icon) of their max Health as magic damage to them. All other enemies within 3 hexes take 50% of the total damage.
Economy Strategy
  1. Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
  2. Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
  3. Level to 6. Roll until stable. “Stable” changes depending on rank, items, augments, composition, and patch, but generally speaking it involves 2-starring your desired 2-cost carry and a tank with items. Major divergence between elos: The lower your elo, the less upgrades you need to be “stable” and thus lower elo players should generally roll less than high elo players on 3-2.
  4. After your 3-2 rolldown, you should attempt to rebuild your economy to 50g.
  5. Once you reach 50g (it might be later than 3-5), start slow rolling down to ~52g each turn. Try to avoid rolling to exactly 50g as any unit you want to buy in shop will put you below 50g.
  6. If you are high HP relative to the lobby, continue slow rolling to 52g each turn. If you are lower HP, you should roll to hit your first 2-cost 3 star on 4-1 or 4-2. If you have to roll below 30g, your placement is usually capped at 3rd or 4th.
  7. If you are still high HP (70+), you can continue to slow roll. Otherwise, in the majority of cases, you should roll deep for your 3-stars here. If your HP is low, you can even go to 0 gold looking for your 3-stars. If you have your 3-stars and can afford to level to 7 with 10g+, do so.
  8. Level to 7 if you haven’t already.
  9. Level to 8 as soon as possible. This may not happen until 5-5 or in some games, stage 6.
  10. Level to 9 whenever possible. This is rare, but can happen in the games you have a chance of winning.

    can’t wait for this to get buffed. very fun but again not a board with senna/luc kindred fidd sol late game so its auto b tier. “we want to have diverse end boards” LMFAO

    I am stupid enough to have tried this Again, Heartsteel is really really good on him. I would recommend, once you become half stable, Rush 10, if you want top 1 abuse that you have less competition and start with 2 stars, so you have a leg up on getting him to 3 star, that has worked more or less to get to top 1, else you will top 3/4

    As others stated, right now this one feels like a complete bait. Only way I can see it work is if you high roll both Xin and Yasuo and get them both to 3* by 4-1 at the latest, and even then you might still go bottom 4.

    Is 3 Demacia 2 Defender better than going 5 -> 7 Ionia though, I think the 24 armor is kinda nice.

    I have to say, Zaahens numbers are down horrendous, 2 star zaahen is worse than just a 2 star Yone, which makes no sense to me.

    Honestly the augment feels like a bait; it just so underwhelming for how hard it is to pull off. Even if you 3-star your Xin, you have to wait an entire stage for Xin to transform into Zaahen. The cherry on top is that Zaahen is literally worse than some of the other 5 cost units in the game. I would not recommend unless you are trying to finish your lorefinder

    When I played this just now, my Zaahen counted as another ionian, is this a bug or intended? Allows for 4 slayers at 9 if intended

      Intended, as long as you don’t run Xin Zhao then he counts as a Demacian and Ionian still.
