Tips & Tricks
  • Arcanists are not a comp you can play every game. It requires a ton of gold to hit and sell the Demacian units as well as hit the 5-costs on the max cap board. Most commonly play from Yordle opener + econ augment(s).
  • Aura farming condition is specifically for Annie
  • Annie is much more powerful when she has multiple mana items. Try to prioritize building mana items in the early game when possible
  • Lucian slot is flexible. Can play Taric, Skarner, Fiddlesticks, etc.
  • The default board is the most common transition from Yordle Fast 9 strategy (see the Fast 9 Guide on the website). The Azir and 6 Arcanist versions are options for late game if you have enough gold or if you didn’t play from Yordle opener.

Economy Strategy
  1. Without econ augment, fast 9 is almost impossible without win-streak.
  2. Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
  3. Level to 5, unless on 3-loss streak.
  4. Level to 6 if on 4+ win streak (scout to see if necessary in high elo) or can stay above 40g.
  5. Level to 6, unless you would go below 30g. If you have to stay level 5 due to low gold (rare), then level to 6 on 3-5.
  6. Level to 7 if you can stay above 30g, otherwise stay level 6.
  7. Level to 7, or 8 if you can stay above 30g.
  8. Level to 8. Main difference from Fast 8 is how much you roll on 8. Ideally you are high HP and don’t need to roll at all. Otherwise, roll for acceptable board and accumulate gold afterward.
  9. Level to 9 if you are rich enough to roll 40g+. Generally only possible with economy augment or encounter.
  10. Level to 9 if you can roll 40g+ or if low HP.
  11. Level to 9 and roll for important 5-costs. For the remainder of game, roll until you hit your 2 star itemized units. Can consider level 10 after hitting.

    Comp is really bad rn, transition from 8 yordle to annie, swain and shyvv (all 2 star) is somehow worse than the full yordle board. Got hustler, level up. Was first in the lobby winstreaking, then transitioned into this trash and went 7th (didn’t win a single round after the transition – from 80hp to 0). C tier at most.

    Is Sett/Ionia actually worth it instead of goin 4 arcanists in the Zilean version?

      I have found that Sett helps you stabilize before you get Sylas. Also is a good item holder for Sylas. Once you do hit I think its okay to start transitioning the Yordles out first.

    Do you sell the whole yordle board and go for the main board in one roll down or do you try to play zillean board while you hit the remaining legendaries?

      roll and try to hit zillean board first as it is a smoother transition, if u hit the main board units then u can decide to all in and transition to main board. even if u hit zillean board imo from there u should still try to slowly transition to main board as if u get a good piltover module its so much than invoker + bruiser and can cap harder by adding azir

      you can try and fast 9 with yordles it gives good econ and usually a more solid board to transition into – also gives kennen/ kobuko for zil variant on the way

    Just wondering, with reinfourcement is there like a “correct” pick such as picking sera/swain for the end board or using it to get lux/garen for sylas or is it just pick the first one that shows up in the shop?
