Patch Insights
- NewRecently UpdatedThis B-Patch made one drastic change to the meta: Every comp is highly conditional. Most base comps are B-tier now instead of A-tier. Viktor still A-tier, but only with Drone.
- NewRecently UpdatedGraves / Vex Fast 9 = Tempo + Econ. Meeple Corki = Meeple Emblem or high tempo Meeple opener. N.O.V.A. = Emblem or strong opener. Primordian Reroll = 3 Primordian Early + Bel'Veth copies. Vanguard LeBlanc = Good Arbiter + Rageblade. Viktor = Drone ideally. Implant or Bioguard acceptable. Must be uncontested. Mecha = Radiant, Anima. Space Groove = Emblem. Anima Viktor = Anima + Drone + Uncontested. TF = Good Stargazer, Combat or Reroll augment, Early copies. Xayah = Boar, Serpent, Altar
- NewRecently UpdatedThis means you need to ideally check Arbiter, Stargazer, and Psionic item each game. Heavily prioritize emblem augments as they give direction. Tempo + Econ = Fast 9 or 3-Cost Reroll depending on how rich you are and what's contested (Fast 9 more expensive).
Meta

the urgot reroll feels much stronger than C teir, I think some conditions are being missed right now. But this has been an very helpful site. Any tips on being fast 9 vex and be stable? I often go fast 9 hit the 1 star 5 cost units and then just start losing, never finding pairs and just end up bot 4. haha
Agreed that it should be B-tier, not so sure about A-tier. Either way, is mostly just another 3-cost reroll and ideally some artifacts that are good. Fast 9 is meh if you don’t win streak stage 2 and 3 usually, really wants 2 combat instead of 2 econ augments if possible (normally not possible, think it might just be a high roll comp I don’t know).
Can you add the Urgot reroll comp!!
I love your webpage
Thanks đ It’s already on the site here: https://tftflow.com/composition/set17/urgot-aurora-reroll
Hey loving the site here. Been relying on this website to play tft(literally handicapped if I don’t have this lmao). Just one suggestion. Can you add early/mid game item holder. I think it would help choosing which line to play.
loving the site, keep up the good work!
Thanks so much for all of these information! (Support from APAC!)
Just a quick message to bring some positivity. I see quite a lot of complaints about the changes brought to the website but imo, they are very good. It is now much simpler to navigate the comps and find something that you can play from your spot. The flowchart still exists, the tier list still exists, all that changed is the landing page for the most part and I really donât think people realise that what you were showing before is the exact same but in a more compact way allowing for more comps to show up.
As for the comp specific pages, they still show all the information they liked but goes more in depth in a, once again, more compact way. I really donât see whatâs there to complain about.
As for the openers, you have a couple openers at most to memorize, I donât see how itâs such a big deal when it only really mattered last set with the unlocks etc (furthermore, some recommended starters are still shown on every single composition page soâŚ).
TO NOTE : Iâm not saying you shouldnât point out things you donât like, it is important. However, there is a way to do it other than saying âthe website is genuinely worseâ and not elaborate until GM asks for more details. Do it in a constructive manner, itâs the best way for things to evolve positively.
Anyways, this was just my 2cents as a Grandmaster player who may not rely as much on what is explicitly told on websites. Keep up the good work GM, youâre doing an awesome work that is appreciated by many albeit maybe not as vocalized as the criticism.
Appreciate the kind words đ It’s fine, I already know from past experiences that if you ever take anything away from users, there will always be some who genuinely loved it and will be unhappy. It’s part of building something that others use. I don’t mind it the way I used to, especially when I know I haven’t implemented the substitute yet.
100% agree with this. People can obviously give feedback, but some of the reactions have been way too harsh for what is clearly a better and cleaner website overall.
The site is easier to navigate, the comps are easier to find, and the information is still there, just presented in a more compact way. Thatâs a straight upgrade in my opinion.
GM Blue, remember that people who criticize are often the loudest. A lot of us genuinely appreciate the work youâre putting in, even if we donât always comment to say it. Keep it up.
For sure, I can’t believe there are people that didn’t like the changes… IT is so much better and easier to visualize/navigate this season
Big fan, great work!
Your builds are consistently better and more comprehensive than other sources.
Love the site changes, everything is great, just one nit pick – for the Patch insights, the box is very narrow and kinda hard to read, I copy pasted the notes into a notepad to widen it. Any chance you could relocate this box or allow for wider text?
Agreed on this. I also copied them, specifically the comp conditions, so that they’re 1 per line.
As you climb, TFT starts feeling less like memorizing comps and more like minimizing variance while maximizing your options within it. I really like this site because it gives both a quick snapshot of the meta and a clear explanation of why, when, and how to play different lines. Itâs been really helpful for understanding the game and reinforcing fundamentals. You should pick your line each game based on the many dependencies shown here, instead of just blindly pasting a comp. Thanks for all the hard work.
Just stumbled upon ur website like a week ago and i gotta say it is excellent. Idk if it is just because the current meta is so very conditional, but the conditions for each line are super helpful and makes way clearer from what spot to play a line other than the usual “you should winstreak” . Super helpful in lineselection, play a line u have a great condition for boom free LP
I used to prefer the old UI, but
With the highly conditionnal meta, your UI is the best now x)
I’m waiting for conditions before checking instead of just randomly pick a team i’d like to play, and this is done wayyyy better with this Ui compared to the old one.
Thank you for your hard work
At first I didn’t like the new layout but now that I’m used to it, it’s definitely easier to digest at a glance. Love it!
I’ve used this site for 3 years and this ui change is genuinely terrible. Pls revert or give people an option to revert
Unfortunately there won’t be an option to revert. The old layout attempted to provide some information about when you would play a line which this layout doesn’t even attempt to provide. They aren’t even comparisons other than the fact they highlight the key comps in the meta so I guess I can see why you think it’s genuinely terrible if you are expecting the same info on this page as was on the old one.
There will be a page that is designed for covering when to play a comp (what openers you want, what opening items, conditional traits, etc.), but it will take some time to design and add to the website. Until then, you’ll have to visit the comp pages themselves to understand line selection. Appreciate the patience.
One piece of feedback I have is that I feel like the spirit of the site is changing away from the original intention. It feels like this is turning more into a cheatsheet comp guide like TFTAcademy or MetaTFT, rather than a flow chart than originally imagined. I prefer this site because I use it to determine direction and outs based on my current board or options.
Yeah, I get that. The #1 goal of the website has not changed though: Make line selection as easy as possible. Most of the feedback Iâm receiving right now is about the fact this home page doesnât assist in parts of line selection that were covered by the old home page which I already know.
Since the very beginning of this website, one of TFT Flowâs biggest issues has been that it did not have a single place on the website where you could see the entire meta read in a single viewport. You had to scroll for 10 million years or open 30 different comp pages to get a complete overview of TFT Flowâs meta read. This page fixes that year+ long problem. The tradeoff is it has to limit how much info is presented here.
The next step is adding a page completely 100% dedicated to understanding the conditions for when to play a comp, in addition to adding a âWhen to Playâ section to the comp pages most likely. Itâs just requiring a lot of planning (read: sleeping on ideas) to figure out how I want to achieve: 1) Minimizing my long-term workload; 2) Visualizing the 6 factors that play into line selection. The old home page typically only visualized 2 factors: The opener and items for a line. It rarely showed important 2-1 augments, never showed conditional traits (like Ionia last set or Stargazer this set), or encounters, or in this set Gods.
Itâs just going to take time for me to find a solution I like. Iâm also burnt out right now and working a bit slower than I was up until this set launch. I need a mental break so Iâm taking one now instead of plowing through building a solution. But I havenât lost, at any point, sight of what TFT Flow is. Itâs a website designed to help you pick comps. Thatâs its #1 goal by far. Of course, it has other goals, like showing you how to play those comps after you pick them and a lot of time is dedicated to that too. But the âflowâ part of TFT flow is figuring out what comps can be played from X conditions. That hasnât been lost and it will never be lost, even if a literal flowchart is not the best way to visualize it.
So, I’m confused. The Meta Comps tooltip says something about ‘default comps.’ Where are these comps, or are there none this patch?
Iâm kind of lost in some games when I don’t have a good Arbiter, Psionic, or Stargazer. I just default to LeBlanc when Ap and go bot4 with ad đ
There are none this patch. It’s one of the issues with the patch.
Bronze For Life
I know I keep getting feedback from people who preferred the old home page (this is normal), so going to repeat myself again: There will be an early game page. I will be doing something about early game. I don’t know what yet though, and I’m taking a small break from developing after a month straight of crunch time to focus on learning the Set and taking a bigger look at where TFT Flow is and where it needs to go. The website is not finished. I don’t mind the feedback, but just want to be clear that the website is still in the middle of a “phase” of changes.
do not forget we love you Blue
Thank you for your hard work, very appreciated! Love the early game page idea!
I miss the flow section with early units => Into comp suggestions ;( Would be nice if you brought it back
This is still a thing just click “flowcharts” at the top and then scroll down
Would it be possible to add the ideal space gods and their boons to the guides and comps?
That would be helpful even a little section with gods and best type of comp toplay with
It should be a little self-explanatory since each god still falls under the Econ , Items, or Combat categorie. Just choose what helps your line
What do you think about the veigar rerol? I find it quite safe for a top 4
