Tips & Tricks
- The best Stargazer Constellations are The Mountain on 2-1, Serpent, Boar, Altar, and Fountain. Huntress is -1 tier. Medallion is -2 tiers (practically unplayable on Medallion without insane spot).
- The main ways to play Xayah have changed over time, but now the predominant approach is playing around N.O.V.A. unless you have The Mountain, in which case Morgana Conduit + Shen Timebreaker changes allow a new variation that caps highest.
- Since Xayah's best build requires 4 bows, it's almost impossible to play this line from winstreak as you often will require the component anvils from low lobby placement to reliably hit her best items unless you have an augment that helps hit perfect items.
- On Level 8, you can either drop Blitzcrank / Mordekaiser or Rhaast for the NOVA board. Samira is the best placeholder for Jhin until you find him.

Economy Strategy
Fast 8
- Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
- Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
- Level to 6 if on 4+ win streak (scout to see if necessary in high elo) or can stay above 40g.
- Level to 6, unless you would go below 30g. If you have to stay level 5 due to low gold (rare), then level to 6 on 3-5.
- Level to 7 if you can stay above 30g, otherwise stay level 6.
- Level to 7.
- Level to 8. Roll for desired comp until stable. "Stable" changes depending on rank, items, augments, composition, and patch. Melee carries and tanks get the biggest spike for 2-stars. Usually stable involves 2-star tank or carry and some other supporting 2-stars. Try not to roll below 10g.
- If you are weak (e.g., have no 2-star 4-costs), consider rolling again to 10g here. If you are stable, save gold to go 9.
- If you are low HP and haven't 2-starred your carry and tank, roll to 0g. If you have medium to high HP with an upgraded + itemized 4-cost unit and some other upgrades, save gold to go 9.
- If high HP, consider waiting until 5-5 to go level 9. If medium HP, consider going level 9 if you can roll 20g or wait until 5-5. If low HP and can afford to go 9, do so even if you have almost no gold to roll on 9. If you can't afford to go 9 this game, roll every turn for upgrades.
- Level to 9 if possible. From this point onward, look to level to 9. Acknowledge games where level 9 is not possible and roll every turn on 8 to preserve placements.
- For max cap games, you can either roll on 9 or level to 10. If you are itemizing a 5-cost carry and it is 1-starred, roll on 9. If you have all your main itemized units upgraded, level to 10.

Your postioning for Boar, just leaves units outside of Stargazer hexes, maybe something that can be adjusted?
hi! i just did a game on serpent, had level 8, BIS titanic hydra xayah 2, BIS nunu 2, and jhin, and went top 7. Lost agaisnt the CLONE of a guy running nunu 1 and xayah 1. he was running vex, shen, jhin, riven, talon, jax, morde
With pandoras 2-1 and playable stargazer I always default to this, even with full lose streak until 3-5 it has very good top 4 chances and can go first when no one highrolls. Nunu 2 is very important to hit tho.
This comp has been terrible for weeks now how is it not updated…
It’s one of the standard lines still. Arguably nothing this patch is A-tier though, so could see bringing it to B-tier. But otherwise, nowhere close to terrible. It’s the highest win rate fast 8 defaultable line (gated behind bows and decent Stargazer). Also one of the highest pick rate comps in the game. Instead of leaving a comment like this, be more specific about what you would like to see updated about it and I’ll consider it seriously.
is battle bunny crossbow still strong?
Dont bother playing this comp after the patch, its horribly weak compared to everything else. The comp NEEDS to have a jhin 2 to be decent at best or anima cash out. NEVER play this unless you can guarantee a jhin 2 early
Even a full Level 2 comp with all the necessary items, I still ended up in a frustrating fourth place
I think one buff, two buff is another strong augment for this comp. Red for Xayah, Blue for Jhin is decent at least, and the champ duplicator can either help you hit xayah/jhin or nunu 2 earlier(since nunu in particular is the most contested unit in the game) or save it for a 3 star xayah(just did this and won my game).
DO NOT build LW or Rageblade on Xayah(rageblade is just bad and Aatrox is sunder), all your bows have to be Kraken Red Buff or GS(Double Kraken is BIS), not allowed to make anything else with bows because you’re gonna need 4 bows and pickup an item augment
3 stargazer alternative bruiser frontline(smoother on 8 and 3 timebreaker for econ): : xayah, nunu, talon, tahm, pantheon, riven, rhaast(morde if tanking nunu), ezreal(jhin if hit).
is battle bunny still bis?
i think echoing batblades as good as battle bunny crossbow
batblades maybe like S. not same tier as battle bunny crossbow
i keep playing battle bunny crossbow xayah and i cannot top 4, im a challenger player and i dont know what im doing wrong help
after cashout and roll down for Xayah 2 star + any tank that’s when you are the strongest in the lobby, can flex in a Fiora to recover HP and econ to 9, then transit to a Graves exodia board, Xayah could fall off later and Jhin do nothing. to the point that opponents are too tanky that take Xayah so long to clear, could lose to quick burst comp like Kaisa Fizz or Viktor something like that. Graves uses crossbow way better than Xayah, like he active it almost every single hit (but unit not always available and of course, need time to invest)
Who is the Deaths Defiance for? Or is it a mistake?
It was auto synced from my database because of Riven, but since Riven is not even in the main comp variation now, I removed it.
Wanted to share a Xayah Corki composition I thought of and got the chance to play. I still think Riven is viable as a duo-carry, but I like the frontline you get from this version and how the items transition when you reach level 9. https://tftflow.com/team-builder/130c7c6c
