Tips & Tricks
  • 400+ Tech is where you can start getting Tier 2 Anima items which are extremely powerful. Any augment or boon (e.g: Soraka boons) that heal your Tactician HP are helpful for hitting the bigger cashouts.
  • This line is better when played from Viktor Psionic item, preferably Drone.
  • Can drop out of Anima after you have cashed out. Jinx does not need to be on the final board.
  • Keep any reforgers you get so you can use them to reforge any Tier 2 items you get. Aim for a tank item for Illaoi (all of them are good) or Searing Shortbow ideally. The Annilhator is worse than Shortbow or tank item, but acceptable

Economy Strategy
  1. Level to 4 if strong.
  2. Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
  3. Level to 6, unless it places you below 30g.
  4. Stay level 6, unless you can stay above 50g on 7 or you are below 40 HP and can stay above 30g on 7.
  5. Level to 7, roll until board mostly upgraded. Never go below 10g even if missing tank or carry.
  6. Build up to 50g, slow roll to 50g until 5-1.
  7. If below ~25 HP, sometimes you must roll until you hit here. Not ideal.
  8. Roll until you hit 3-star carry and tank. Can go to 0g. Only greed gold if you are above ~60 HP.
  9. If you hit, you can level to 8. Otherwise stay 7. Holds true for every round for the rest of the game.

Searing Shortbow or tier 2 tank -> Good, cash out
Crossbow -> Auto-win on Xayah or Graves
Radiant Field (hp burn) -> BIS on mighty mech

  2. Anonymous

searing shortbow is broken right now autoclick at 300 if you have it

  3. ivern is shinigami

There is a graphic bug. You cannot see your gold on mobile because numbers overlap

    1. Author avatarGM Blue

Not sure what you mean. If you’re talking about the unit count and board cost, those are purposefully hidden right now on mobile. But I don’t know what you’re talking about for “numbers overlap”. Looks fine on the devices I’ve tested. Posting a picture in Discord is best way to communicate exactly what is happening if I can’t replicate it.

      1. Anonymous

i think they mean in the game itself on mobile, when playing anima the gold and cashout values overlap, there are some bugs with anima right now this might be one of them

        1. Author avatarGM Blue

Ah okay. Yeah I just saw a post on Twitter that they are not going to be able to fix the Mobile gold issue until next patch unfortunately.

  4. Mark

A health trait is a must

Everything up to 400 wasn’t effective enough to be of use and I barely didn’t have enough health to get 500

  5. yummy

I really think this is only worth playing if you can get a 500 cashout and a turn to stabilize, also not really documented super well but its nice you can reforge cashout items

    1. Author avatarGM Blue

Added a tip about reforges, thanks. The comp is great if you can get 400+ cash, 300+ is okay but need other conditions. 500+ should win the game most of the time, but isn’t realistic.
