Tips & Tricks
  • Since hitting Blitzcrank is not going to happen every game, can consider playing around the 5 Space Groove board or playing multiple copies of one of your reroll units (e.g: Two Ornns 2s or Two Samira, even without Two Tanky) before hitting.
  • If using the solo frontline positioning, the most important part is to protect yourself against getting wrapped
  • Two Tanky is strong as long as you understand to play vertical Space Groove INSTEAD of 3 Space Groove. So play 5 Space Groove + Double Ornn and Double Samira on 7, and either Double Ornn Double Samira on 8 with Bastion OR 7 Space Groove with Double Ornn on 8
  • The old Two Tanky comp is still shown in case balance brings it back to being the superior version, but for now always play around vertical Space Groove.

Economy Strategy
  1. Level to 4 if strong.
  2. Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
  3. Level to 6, unless it places you below 30g.
  4. Stay level 6, unless you can stay above 50g on 7 or you are below 40 HP and can stay above 30g on 7.
  5. Level to 7, roll until board mostly upgraded. Never go below 10g even if missing tank or carry.
  6. Build up to 50g, slow roll to 50g until 5-1.
  7. If below ~25 HP, sometimes you must roll until you hit here. Not ideal.
  8. Roll until you hit 3-star carry and tank. Can go to 0g. Only greed gold if you are above ~60 HP.
  9. If you hit, you can level to 8. Otherwise stay 7. Holds true for every round for the rest of the game.

    Removed the 3-star Nasus since it was confusing so many people. If you are far ahead, you could hold extra Nasus and hope you hit it because it will actually tank a decent amount due to the ridiculous healing that 7 Space Groove provides. It basically guarantees you can’t get wrapped in the positioning shown. But as you all have noted, it is not an option IF you are playing from low HP which this comp often will have to do since it usually requires high econ given how contested Space Groove is.

    Also since Space Groove is about to get nerfed, it won’t be nearly as impactful anymore. Just wanted to clarify why it was there in the first place. It’s way too confusing for most people so in future I won’t do this again unless I write a few tips about when to hold the extra copies and hope you hit it. It was never “mandatory”. It was just in a unique spot that hitting it actually was impactful even with zero items.

    You should consider noting down the Samira crit rate bugs, it’s super important to how you itemise her and explains why IE has been so bad on her the entire set

    Played this comp for the first time, got three star Ornn, Samira and Gwen (not sure how you are meant to three star Nasus on a lvl 7 reroll). Finished with 100 hp and got first lol. Did get lucky by getting Ornn and Samira from early orbs and no MF reroll contestors for Ornn, but regardless it is a very straightforward unconditional comp. This was in low emerald, high plat lobby for reference.

    Played this raw 7 space groove and with expedition, using refractor on Shojin, Ornn 3 Samira 3, no too tanky. It feels really good after the B patch and the previous 7 Groove buff.

    this line is only playable from Two Tanky and having early game tempo, some Rogue opener with AD items and if you can somehow have a lot of gold, can cap really high and you can roll for the Xayahs/Nunu before anyone else, Blitz over Nasus is a huge spike, Rhaast is still pretty good on 9 + another knock up, any Sniper on 9 is also good(Jhin being the best with his unique trait buff)

    like others have said, you will be fighting for 4-5 place. this placement depends on your early game and lobby tempo, i got a clutch 3rd because two players were contesting stargazer reroll

    Okay comp to hit top 4-5 but nothing more even when fully capped out. Can be good when played with a very strong and early lead. With Two tanky at least

      I got an easy 1st with an early deadlier blades into sword overflow. Also i used early brawler 4 with timebreaker to get early rolls and levels. held units i needed and transitioned at 7 to this board for an easy win.

    Really bad to play from behind, if theres other Samira forcers, Nami players, Kaisa Ornn rerollers youre 8th, two tanky Ornn is good but Samira is overrated(rather have trait bots/higher quality over 2 Samiras)
