OP Conditions
Patch Insights
- NewRecently UpdatedB-Patch has been announced! It will target the 3-star 4-cost roll / duplicate augments and some nerfs to "dominant" carries. It will go live later today. Expect updates after it goes live.
- NewRecently UpdatedPlayers are starting to realize that 3-star 4-costs as a win condition are worth considering, especially with duplicator augments like New Recruit, Just Hit, and Max Buiild, due to 30% 4-cost odds on 8. Consider going for them.
- NewRecently UpdatedWhile Fast 9 with Vex or Graves are usually the highest cap boards, you'll generally need a strong tempo opener and econ augments to play these meaning you won't be able to angle them every game.
- NewRecently UpdatedWhile Anima was nerfed before launch, Timebreaker and Primordian weren't so you should prioritize these units highly in Stage 1 as the econ value they provide helps almost all comps.
- NewRecently UpdatedEmblems are quite strong in Set 17. Not all strong Emblems are on the website currently, but generally it is a good idea to click Emblem augments (especially if you are lose streaking and can get reforgers).

B-Patch announced (naturally right after I finish recording lmao). Will nerf a few dominant carries and remove some of the problematic augments that are causing 3-star 4-costs. Expect updates some time after the patch goes live.
I love the new features; you really did an amazing job. Still my go-to website!
Recorded a YouTube guide for the patch for anyone who values that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCW3KYdvi1U
Appreciate the work! As someone who uses all the other websites, I can clearly say that this is the best website right now. Unlike other users, I think removing openers from the main page isn’t a big problem because there aren’t many different openers.
EDIT: Fixed. The A-Patch changes show under “PBE” currently. Not sure they actually got added to the live client so they might be updated by the server and hence why it is not showing in Live data. This is not a bug on the site’s behalf though so no issues.
Working on excluding the “addition” changes that happen on X.1 patches (when a set gets added to the database for the first time, triggering a bunch of changes for every entity in the set). Until I fix this, you’ll see the “Patch Changes” section showing every single entity in that comp which is obviously not desired behavior so give me some time to sort it out.
Really enjoying all the new changes! However, one suggestion would be to the have openers section and changelog section swapped. Seeing the openers at a single glance without needing to scroll would be quite helpful.
I like the new layout. Would it be possible to have a search / filter for various conditions, along with minimum condition tier as a filter? Would greatly help with reducing down the number of comps we might want to choose from. The conditions flowchart is nice, but I can’t evaluate ‘multiple’ conditions at once.
Ex: I want to filter for comps where Radiant Gargoyle AND Healing Orbs AND Econ opener are minimum S tier conditions. Result might highlight Mecha according to those since all 3 are good for Mecha, and not just 2/3.
If you want to do this, you’ll have to use the tier list. The only functionality you wanted that the tier list doesn’t do is minimum tier, but it presents the information concisely enough that you can easily see what comps are what tier with the search terms you made. This is meant to be a “dumb” overview page, not highly interactive. The tier list will remain the most interactive place on the website if you want to do anything more complicated.
For the “AND” search (which you can switch to by clicking “OR” between conditions above the search bar on the tier list), it doesn’t properly show the results in the Results box (forgot to code that, not sure when I’ll get around to it), but it still shows the “Combo” cards (all conditions searched with “AND”) on the tier list.
bre i dont know that i need this new features on the website but man its sick. great job big man <3
big man is back with the professional analysis!
I understand a few of you liked that the old format had first item slams, first unit to slam those items on, and openers. My comment mentioning this is filed under last patch, but to be clear, the intention is to have an entire page dedicated to early game for “Default” and “Meta” comps. However, it wasn’t finished by release of Set 17. I will work on it after Set 17 meta settles a little more. On the bright side, almost every comp has the same ideal opener: Primodian and Timebreaker unless you can win streak, occasional Anima if you are feeling spicy. That’s it. But for now, if you want more details for a specific comp, you need to go to the comp pages until the Early Game page is developed.
Will the old format for previous sets come back? It looked so much nicer…
This page lets you see a lot more potential comps now, but it totally leaves out what starter comps or conditions you’d want to look for (realistically) since a lot of the ones showing are augments or emblems
Where did the nice layout go that showed you what to do depending on your starting conditions? That was super helpful and actually felt like a flowchart.
Daaaang, what a banger of a website. Got even better, when it was the best to begin with… thanks so much for your work.
nice work mate
love your work
I love the changes, especially the “OP conditions” tab. Thanks for your hardword, it really is appreciated !
(The patch insight is huge too)
The website is now full of info, and I admit I’m overwhelmed a bit
Even though the home page is nice, I preferred the previous three-column layout for specific intro page, now there are about eight distinct things to look at there
Just when I thought the site couldnt get any better– Love the new look and features!
I liked how you could see the important openers on the home page, can this be brought back?
