Patch 16.4 Guide
The most popular meta lines for the patch are included here. Use the tier list to see all lines. Tips for the patch:
- Patch 16.4 is similar to last patch in many regards. Biggest changes are Voli Ryze and Draven Fast 9 possibly returning to the meta after the level 9 XP buffs.
- Aatrox verisons of Bel'Veth boards look stronger now, but are still sometimes difficult to play due to his unlock condition
- Sona Reroll is probably still decent from good spots, but her heal was nerfed and her best augment "On a Roll" was removed from 2-1 so most of the time you should play around Lux instead
- Seraphine Lissandra lines look weaker on the new patch after the bug fix for Disruptors dealing more than intended damage with Freljord. The comp should still be playable, just not as strong as last patch.
- The Rumble Hero augment buffs were likely enough to make the augment playable now or possibly even good from certain spots

For anyone looking to mess with 3-cost reroll next patch (coming out on Thursday this week), I’ve created pages for Leblanc Darius Reroll and Zoe Sejuani Reroll with conditions and tips to help you understand when and how to play these lines. I’m 80% confident in the information I’ve put there and the builds I have listed, so please check them out and let me know if there are things you don’t agree with. I’ve personally played the Darius LeBlanc line only 6 times because it’s not a comp you can force (I’ve tried). I played Zoe Sejuani today and took note of how it played against different matchups. It was significantly good against slayer boards with the 3-stars if you positioned correctly because Zoe can hit the melee carries harder than they can heal. If you can make it to level 8 in these lines with the 3-stars, you should be doing pretty good in your lobby. Don’t expect to top 3 ending the game on level 7. Keep an eye out for On a Roll in these comps, it’s still a really great augment since most of the upgrades happen after selecting it. To see the augments, items, and tips, you have to click on the pencil above the champion list and switch between Overview and Strategy.

Awesome website
Viego 2 star with 263 souls does 8,000 damage.
my viego 3 star with 6000 souls did 0 damage vs open fort board!!!!! so weak!!
how did you hit 3 star 5 costs this patch
Kinda funny; even though u can go 9-10 now in most games; 4 cost 3 stars are just so strong that they clear an entire max cap board still. it feels so bad.
played multiples games yesterday for lvl9, it feels better now even more with early draven, I hope the 4 cost 3* wont infest this patch
yay
The website has been updated for Patch 16.4. This had a smaller overall impact on the meta than most Set 16 patches so far. Some level 9 boards appear to be back in meta such as Voli Ryze and Draven Fast 9, but this is still an extremely early meta read. Some high level players suspect that 4-cost 3 stars may still be prevalent. I think it depends on how many people believe it is the optimal strategy. If high elo finds it optimal, it will probably trickle down like last patch. If not, hopefully the fast 9 comps stay in the meta.
so good!
