Tips & Tricks
- If you have Sympathetic Implant as one of your Psionic items, play around 4 Psionic as the item is very strong on Gragas when upgraded. The base item is not strong (only playing 2 Psionic).
- The absolute best Psionic setup for this comp is Target-Lock Optics on 2 for Pyke and Sympathetic Implant on 4 for Gragas. If you do not have Sympathetic Implant, it's probably not worth playing 4 Psionic over 6 Brawler.
- The positioning is not solved yet (haven't seen enough games with the augment). The two factors to keep in mind for positioning is maximizing Gragas damage and getting Pyke to the enemy corner carry.
- These two factors theoretically conflict because Gragas wants enemies clumped while Pyke wants the frontline split to make his hook more likely to hit corner carry. Also not known if Gragas wants a center position for more AoE, or a side position for higher chance of hitting backline.

Economy Strategy
2-Cost Reroll
- Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
- Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
- Level to 6. Roll until stable. "Stable" changes depending on rank, items, augments, composition, and patch, but generally it involves 2-starring your desired 2-cost carry and a tank with items. Major divergence between elos: The lower your elo, the less upgrades you need to be "stable" and thus lower elo players should generally roll less than high elo players on 3-2.
- After your 3-2 rolldown, you should attempt to rebuild your economy to 50g.
- Once you reach 50g (it might be later than 3-5), start slow rolling down to ~52g each turn. Try to avoid rolling to exactly 50g as any unit you want to buy in shop will put you below 50g.
- If you are high HP relative to the lobby, continue slow rolling to 52g each turn. If you are lower HP, you should roll to hit your first 2-cost 3 star on 4-1 or 4-2. If you have to roll below 30g, your placement is usually capped at 3rd or 4th.
- If you are still high HP (70+), you can continue to slow roll. Otherwise, in the majority of cases, you should roll deep for your 3-stars here. If your HP is low, you can even go to 0 gold looking for your 3-stars. If you have your 3-stars and can afford to level to 7 with 10g+, do so.
- Level to 7 if you haven't already.
- Level to 8 as soon as possible. This may not happen until 5-5 or in some games, stage 6.
- Level to 9 whenever possible. This is rare, but can happen in the games you have a chance of winning.

just had a game with gragas panth pyke 3 BIS (malware matrix pyke actually) was missing sona karma, brawler 4, and did top 6. am i missing something ?
ludens + charge transfer + gragas might be the most broken comp I’ve ever seen. Charge Transfer and Luden’s stacks, effectively doubling your damage across all domains!
Just made one game with him, top 5 with bis Grag and Pyke. I didn’t make enough effort on the positioning tbh. Seeing the dmg, I understand why that’s so strong!
I don’t think pyke/grag are that anti-synergistic, since Pyke can drag the carries closer to grag, but maybe i’m wrong on this.
Dont play this. Its horrible. Even with giga bis items and augments

Find your center is pretty good, +15%Amp and 25% max health. Gragas3 and Pantheon3 easily beat capped fast9 board (vex2 sona2 bard2).
im emerald trash at the moment so can someone explain how this augment isnt giga win? pretty much just 3 star this guy with any damage and auto top 2. Just got top 3 and watched him absolutely obliterate my board and a fast 9 fiora 2 bis yi 2 bis board
Pyke is bait. Master Yi 2 is much better at getting to the backline after Gragas blows away all the tanks. Also play Urgot for Brawler/Marauder.

hit jeweled lotus and implant and early grag 3 was kinda mid
the 4 Psionic version is very strong, Sona 2 is whatever but utility on her is good, Tahm with decent leftover items and/or ekko boon on Tahm>Sona
I already play this comp and got all win conditions. So this is really op put gragus in middle gragus gonna do his work pyke need to kill back line really need you should position pyke for his for this so if you got syphatic and lock-on should try this.
I just can’t seem to win with this comp even when I am way ahead in the lobby. I got the Sympathetic Implant and BiS across all units. I can get top 4 with other comps but I just can’t seem to win with this one even when the game already feeds me all the things I need.
This is so disgustingly broken. But so satisfying to play. Horrendous to lose against.
