Tips & Tricks
- In Patch 17.9, Milio's ability got a rework that allowed his ability to bounce even more at the expense of damage. This change has made it so itemized Milio 3 is averaging in the low 3s (MUCH better than prior patches) so prioritize Milio over Lulu
- The Fountain and The Mountain on 2-1 are the best Constellations. Medallion is playable, especially with any reroll augment that helps hit multiple units. Avoid on Serpent, Altar, and Huntress.
- Lulu gets MUCH stronger with Radiant items and Artifacts, so it's worth always checking the Stargazer before selecting your 2-1 augment as some Lulu setups are worth forcing (most notably The Mountain Horizon Focus Lulu).
- Lulu generally wants two items that help her cast and one item that provides AP. Rageblade is fine as a caster item as long as it is paired with Shojin. Cast items include Nashor, Shojin, Blue Buff, Adaptive, and Rageblade. AP items include Rabadon's, Archangel, and JG.
- Crownguard Jax used to be his best item before Patch 17.4 because his damage reduction used to scale with AP, but it no longer scales so other tank items are typically better now.
- Maokai wants all Belt items due to his passive scaling with HP.

Economy Strategy
2 & 3-Cost Reroll
- This is an uncommon econ strategy. Sometimes there are zero comps in the meta that use it.
- Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
- Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
- Level to 6. Roll until stable. "Stable" changes depending on rank, items, augments, composition, and patch, but generally speaking it involves 2-starring your desired 2-cost carry and a tank with items. Major divergence between elos: The lower your elo, the less upgrades you need to be "stable" and thus lower elo players should generally roll less than high elo players on 3-2.
- After your 3-2 rolldown, you should attempt to rebuild your economy to 50g.
- Once you reach 50g (it might be later than 3-5), start slow rolling down to ~52g each turn. Try to avoid rolling to exactly 50g as any unit you want to buy in shop will put you below 50g.
- Unlike 2-cost reroll, you generally cannot afford to dip below 50g this stage. If you have to due to HP, you're likely going to end up in a bottom 4 placement. Slow roll to ~53g this stage, picking up your 2-costs and 3-costs.
- In some metas, this econ strategy levels to 7 here and slow rolls at 50g until stage 5. If you have high HP, you can defer going level 7 until 4-5.
- Level to 7 if you didn't on 4-2 and continue to slow roll above 50g.
- Roll to 0g, trying to hit your key 2 and 3-cost 3 stars. You'll want your carry and tank upgraded at a minimum.
- From this point onward, attempt to level to 8 and add any key remaining units to your board.

Should Include that you roll on lvl 6 not 7 on medallion for Lulu 2 and maybe 3 star 2 costs. Once you hit enough you can go to 7 and keep rolling there and then roll the rest of the 3 costs on 8 if you really need to be strong.
Thefore Invested is a really good augment, too.
Also you can build Shojin on Lulu NP, Rageblade ok, too
i just played this comp on the medallion with trade sector and pris ticket, i had 5 3-stars on the board and went 10 with vex and blitz. high roll!
Do not spend gold on these Maokai, Pantheon, Rhaast trash unit 3 star tanks, they dont even come close to the beast that Jax is, have tried to tank the others and their performance is laughable
i think rolling at 6 is best here, 3* panth milo jax then move on, picking up any lulus on the way ofc

Played Medallion constellation. Got a Mogul’s Mail which considerably helped my economy but only managed to get Lulu, Maokai and Rhaast 3★ and another player in the lobby had a 600 Anima Cashout, so I figured I would not be winning this match and was aiming for a Top 2. Since I had a healthy economy and could beat anyone but the Anima player, I decided to push level 10 to get 2 more Replicator in play, got a Lissandra 1★ and a Nami 2★, moved some items from Milio to her and, to my and my opponent’s surprise, with some positioning a bit of luck, I managed to win.

Jax 3 is by far the best tank out Jax/Maokai/Rhaast/Pantheon, Milio 3 worth going for hes a very good second carry
Horizon Focus Mountain Lulu is runs into a problem when half the lobby is going QSS and titans.
Played on the Huntress constellation + Double Duplicators encounter, in this Stargazer its better to play Milio 3 as your main Carry and Lulu 3 as the clean up crew, played Jax 3 as my main tank (Jax 3>Maokai 3>Pantheon 3>Rhaast 3) Milio with Shojin + AP + Amp, DO NOT BUILD/TAKE ANTIHEAL BECAUSE LULU SPELL HAS ANTIHEAL ONLY IN HUNTRESS
Roll on 6 for Milio 3 or Jax 3, then push and roll until 3 stars on 7
Lvl 8 Rhaast 2, lvl 9 Blitz>Morg imo, its another Redeemer stack + Blitz does damage/displacement unlike Morg
Horizon Focus Mountain Lulu is so OP you dont even need the 3 star (lobby holding your copies) so just push levels and play strongest board if thats the only 3 star you cannot hit, milio 3 and any tank 3 star can do the clean up just make sure you protect your Lulu, maybe even QSS Shojin Horizon, Rageblade is a delicacy QSS Nashors or even Red Buff are ok in its place
I dont think Maokai is the best tank in this comp, Id rather carry Jax 2 all game than Maokai 3, also hard to hit if theres 2 Yi players sucking 6 copies. I undestand you probably wont hit Jax 3 if theres TF rerollers in lobby but since youre also rolling on 6 before and for more gold than them it might be worth to contest him. Pantheon 3 seems very open to hit and Rhaast 3 nearly impossible if the whole lobby slots him in 1 star or 2 star. Needless to say if you somehow cant hit any of these 3 star just Push and get Nunu 2 or Tahm 2 on 7
Just to add some tips
1)Avoid Any Other Wound Item on Huntress Constellation
(Red Buff, Sunfire, Morello and Solar Hex)
Since Huntress Lulu offer 33% Wound for 5 seconds
2)Milio Could be the Primary carry
with build such as Blue Buff, Death cap and Gun blade
(Play this comp as tier 2 & tier 3 reroll) ,
especially in Huntress, Serpent and Alter , where Lulu offer 33% Wound for 5 seconds , Removal of 5/7/10 magic resist and 30% slow (i.e. Chill) for 2 seconds respectively.
3)probably the main ability power line in 17.2b
Since This comp have an average placement of 4.01 on level 7, with other Conduit units(e.g. Asol/Viktor) underperforming
Expedition could be a pretty strong condition for this comp
Hey blue, just curious, with mountain do you ALWAYS want rageblade + shojins ( I beleive so), and then a damage item, or is that only if you get horizon. Basically, if the constelation is mountain and you can’t get horizon, is it better to do default build or go for infinite casts
if you dont have Mountain constellation and you have Horizon you CANNOT put it on Lulu, because her ability in other constellations does not stun, you can put it on Jax but hes better with 3 tank items, or Reforge the Artifact into something useful, Dawncore for Lulu or some Tank artifact for your 3 star Tank, Jax/Maokai/Pantheon/Rhaast
yes I understand that, that is also exactly what the guide says. I’m asking if when playing lulu on mountain (assuming no artifacts) should I give her shojin + rageblade to maximize cats + stuns OR give her normal ap items (nashor jg) to prio dmg?
I feel like with the OP+ tier rating, having both Horizon Focus and MOUNTAIN Stargazer together could even stand on their own — it’s absolutely broken, completely unbeatable.
