Tips & Tricks
- There are several boards that can be played with Aurelion Sol. The best endgame board is Blitzcrank + Nunu with 4 Vanguard, but if remain flexible to Mighty Mech and Morgana during rolldown as 4 Vanguard without Blitzcrank is underwhelming.
- This comp is specifically for non-mech Aurelion Sol. Do not use the Mecha Forma on him generally.
- In the board that plays The Mighty Mech, you can consider Mecha Forming the Mighy Mech, although often playing a Rhaast is better unless you have perfect items for the Mech.
- There are 4 tanks you can play around in this line: Nunu, Mighty Mech, Morgana, and Tahm Kench. If you find that Nunu is unhittable because several people are playing AP flex, consider using one of the other comp variations that plays around one of the other tanks.

- Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
- Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
- Level to 6 if on 4+ win streak (scout to see if necessary in high elo) or can stay above 40g.
- Level to 6, unless you would go below 30g. If you have to stay level 5 due to low gold (rare), then level to 6 on 3-5.
- Level to 7 if you can stay above 30g, otherwise stay level 6.
- Level to 7.
- Level to 8. Roll for desired comp until stable. "Stable" changes depending on rank, items, augments, composition, and patch. Melee carries and tanks get the biggest spike for 2-stars. Usually stable involves 2-star tank or carry and some other supporting 2-stars. Try not to roll below 10g.
- If you are weak (e.g., have no 2-star 4-costs), consider rolling again to 10g here. If you are stable, save gold to go 9.
- If you are low HP and haven't 2-starred your carry and tank, roll to 0g. If you have medium to high HP with an upgraded + itemized 4-cost unit and some other upgrades, save gold to go 9.
- If high HP, consider waiting until 5-5 to go level 9. If medium HP, consider going level 9 if you can roll 20g or wait until 5-5. If low HP and can afford to go 9, do so even if you have almost no gold to roll on 9. If you can't afford to go 9 this game, roll every turn for upgrades.
- Level to 9 if possible. From this point onward, look to level to 9. Acknowledge games where level 9 is not possible and roll every turn on 8 to preserve placements.
- For max cap games, you can either roll on 9 or level to 10. If you are itemizing a 5-cost carry and it is 1-starred, roll on 9. If you have all your main itemized units upgraded, level to 10.

the Concentration augment that buffs your conduits abilities duration seems completely broken or something. i winstreaked through the entire game with a 1* zoe with void staff & jewel gauntlet, and found aurelion super late and had him 1* for a while as well. i was winning against 2* vex graves boards with a 1* aurelion & bard.
The elder dragon is a great lvl10 cap piece
For real the elder dragon slaps
the old Mech board without Meching Asol is pretty good, specially from Anima cashouts, (Asol, Mech, Karma, Morde, Rhaast, Morg + 1 free slot)
Galio main tank with Iceblast Armor/Lioness Lament/Radiant Field + 2 Stoneplates,
Aurelion Sol with The Annihilator/Searing Shortbow + JG + Dcap>Guardbreaker (Shortbow you want to Mech Asol because he spends more mana, item synergy)
Slam TG last slot can be Urgot until you find Fiora in his place to save you up HP again so youre not 1 life after Anima, and/or Blitzcrank after gaining some HP for Tank displacement enemy tanks, whatever you hit 2 star>Urgot

So basically it’s another Bard Vanguard comp, but this time with Aurelion instead of Vex and with an itemized Karma to dark star clean-up instead of Bard/Sona
I guess your items and how easy you hit might determined if you go Aurelion or Vex
Blue just (almost) cooked the lobby with this comp and Rabadon’s augment. Apparently it’s solid when the pilot has hands.
