Tips & Tricks
- Play Zac before you hit Varus. The level 8 board fits perfectly without any 5-costs. Only play Varus if you have items for him though. Keep Zac if you have no Varus items.
- The comp can use many gloves, so make sure to typically take them on carousel
- Third row K’Sante and place your Strategists in the frontline. All Out K’Sante animation stalls at start of the fight and dashes to his target. When you fill up the frontline, it is much more likely K’Sante can wrap to the backline
- Tailoring has been removed in Patch 15.2 which makes it harder to hit All Out on K’Sante. If you miss, pray you hit Varus so you can itemize him with K’Sante’s items.
- There are multiple versions of this line. Mighty Mech is the best with Bronze for Life and can be strong without it. The Protector versions are also quite strong. The Strategist version is the least played.

Economy Strategy
- Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
- Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
- Level to 6 if on 4+ win streak (scout to see if necessary in high elo) or can stay above 40g.
- Level to 6, unless you would go below 30g. If you have to stay level 5 due to low gold (rare), then level to 6 on 3-5.
- Level to 7 if you can stay above 30g, otherwise stay level 6.
- Level to 7.
- Level to 8. Roll for desired comp until stable. “Stable” changes depending on rank, items, augments, composition, and patch. Melee carries and tanks get the biggest spike for 2-stars. Usually stable involves 2-star tank or carry and some other supporting 2-stars. Try not to roll below 10g.
- If you are weak (e.g., have no 2-star 4-costs), consider rolling again to 10g here. If you are stable, save gold to go 9.
- If you are low HP and haven’t 2-starred your carry and tank, roll to 0g. If you have medium to high HP with an upgraded + itemized 4-cost unit and some other upgrades, save gold to go 9.
- If high HP, consider waiting until 5-5 to go level 9. If medium HP, consider going level 9 if you can roll 20g or wait until 5-5. If low HP and can afford to go 9, do so even if you have almost no gold to roll on 9. If you can’t afford to go 9 this game, roll every turn for upgrades.
- Level to 9 if possible. From this point onward, look to level to 9. Acknowledge games where level 9 is not possible and roll every turn on 8 to preserve placements.
- For max cap games, you can either roll on 9 or level to 10. If you are itemizing a 5-cost carry and it is 1-starred, roll on 9. If you have all your main itemized units upgraded, level to 10.
maybe update the best items for akali?
I tried putting radiant IE on k’sante with the ability crit augment. It does insane damage and I laughed all the way to 1st place with 12hp. Just a fun little combo for those who’s conditions line up.
For those of you who need an extra front line on 8. I suggest putting your ryze at the very front with the other front lines if you haven’t given him items. Strategist shield is much more useful given he does not have the items to deal damage.
I think your explanation of the TFT Set 15 fruit mechanic is helpful, but a bit hard to follow. Here’s my version with the same info, just in a clearer format:
In TFT Set 15, you cannot roll the same 3 fruits in a row for any unit.
For example, if you give K’Sante a fruit and get Colossal, Corrosive, and Selfish, you won’t see those again on any unit until you’ve cycled through all other possible fruits (or all other unit-specific fruits).
This rule applies across units with overlapping power-ups.
So, if you use a fruit on a unit with similar power-ups to K’Sante (like Aatrox, who also has Colossal, Corrosive, and Selfish), you can sell that unit and keep your fruit remover. This lets you work through all 18 of K’Sante’s power-ups while using fewer removers.
Units with the most similar power-ups to K’Sante:
13 overlaps Kennen, Malphite, Rell, Dr. Mundo, Kobuko, Rakan, Rammus, Neeko, Leona
12 overlaps Aatrox, Zac, Shen, Vi, Swain, Sett
11 overlaps Garen, Poppy
10 overlaps Jarvan IV, Udyr
9 overlaps Xin Zhao
6 overlaps The Mighty Mech, Darius
5 overlaps Naafiri, Gangplank, Jayce, Volibear, Braum, Yone
4 overlaps Katarina, Gwen
3 overlaps Viego, Yasuo, Lee Sin
1 overlap Gnar, Kayle, Kalista, Sivir, Kai’Sa, Xayah, Caitlyn, Senna, Ashe, Jinx, Samira, Varus, Ezreal
Tailoring is getting removed in less than 10 hours across all regions in newest patch, so will be removing those tips once I update for 15.2. Riot removed it
i saw people putting archangels as BIS item for akali, what do you think about?
It isn’t bad but not completely necessary on her in my opinion. I prioritize morellos on her first in my games since she can spread it much more effectively than any other units on board.
Shouldn’t new contenders be a fairly strong condition since it acts as a pseudo emblem?
how to transition so bad
What should I transition into if I didnt hit All out?
Hit Varus and give him KSante items ^^
Or Samira probably, Soul Fighters if you hit Gwen, Volibear before that.
i tried it like 3 times now and I can’t win with this at the moment, and I had bronze for life and it still feels weak
k’sante is omega overtuned imho, only issue is with mega tanks like 3* rakan with 6 protectors or big burst from an ahri 3*
I cant make this comp work as well, it feels incredible weak. ksante hits like a wet noodle. I just went 6th with bornze for life…. couldnt even 2 star him
I am like 99% sure there are some broken artifact interactions with All Out K’Sante, but no data — So that’s the next thing we need people to test. Test ranged K’Sante, test Prowler, test Spectral (not sure how this interacts with the All Out animation), test Luden’s … Pair all of them with IE + Striker. Feels like there is something that is probably quite strong.
Is this version better than the 4 protector one?
I know you were asking about the Strategist version because the Mighty Mech version didn’t exist at the time you commented, but yes — I think the Strategist version is better than 4 Prot and I think the Mighty Mech version is better than both of them, although that’s just my opinion for now. It’s not solved yet.
With emblem I can confirm it kinda works. Ksante did around 10k dmg. Kinda giga fighter and require you too kill as fast as you can. He heal half HP and kill.
I felt like itemize Akali kinda wasted. All 4 supreme unit kinda bad IMO. I have 4 supreme and she did like 5k dmg.
Maybe Gold collector would work too? I know it’s not as broken as +50% amp but execute really helps… maybe…
Tried running 4 supreme’s as well with emblem. Akali got the glow of a supreme, but seemingly no increased amp as she had striker’s and was at 31% at the start of combat. I am thinking the second supreme is slightly bugged or does not benefit from the actual increase in amp themselves making the trait somewhat weaker.
