Tips & Tricks
- Demacia is the main path to most final AP. Many AP lines want to unlock Galio and then slowly transition to a lower Demacia trait count, capping around either Ryze or Annie most of the time.
- The reason this wasn’t viable before Patch 16.6 is it was too difficult to unlock Kennen and Galio, but with the 16.6 unlock changes, this line became possible.
- The most common way to cap this line is with Ryze or Annie or both. If you find Annie on 8, she can often help carry you to 9.
- For the Ryze variations, 7 of the 9 units are fixed: Poppy + Xin Zhao + Kennen + Sett + Sylas + Swain + Ryze. The last 2 slots can be flexed between Azir + Shurima, 2 flex units like Taric / Senna, or Annie + Tibbers.
- Note that if you are not rich enough to play these level 9 boards, you can easily fallback to the standard fast 8 Demacia Lux line. It’s not as strong, but it is at least viable and should be able to top 4 from a good enough spot.

- Without econ augment, fast 9 is almost impossible without win-streak.
- Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
- Level to 5, unless on 3-loss streak.
- Level to 6 if on 4+ win streak (scout to see if necessary in high elo) or can stay above 40g.
- Level to 6, unless you would go below 30g. If you have to stay level 5 due to low gold (rare), then level to 6 on 3-5.
- Level to 7 if you can stay above 30g, otherwise stay level 6.
- Level to 7, or 8 if you can stay above 30g.
- Level to 8. Main difference from Fast 8 is how much you roll on 8. Ideally you are high HP and don’t need to roll at all. Otherwise, roll for acceptable board and accumulate gold afterward.
- Level to 9 if you are rich enough to roll 40g+. Generally only possible with economy augment or encounter.
- Level to 9 if you can roll 40g+ or if low HP.
- Level to 9 and roll for important 5-costs. For the remainder of game, roll until you hit your 2 star itemized units. Can consider level 10 after hitting.
There is no way for this board to be strong. I just lost automatically to THREE Darius noxious users in the lobby.
