Tips & Tricks
  • Itemize Jarvan 2 over Swain 2, but Swain 2 over Jarvan 1.
  • If you get Sorcerer Isekai, replace Ahri with Zyra or a strategist.
  • Sorcerers want Karma to be positioned on the opponent’s weak side (opposite of tank) to proc Sorcerer’s effect on kill. Each kill progressively helps get more kills.
  • After the nerfs to Gwen’s auto attack cone damage in Patch 15.2, range extension on Gwen is nowhere as strong as it was before. Fishbones and Rapid Firecannon are generally not good at all, and Sniper’s is only just “okay”.
  • Blue Buff looks much better than Shojin in Patch 15.3. Try to prioritize tears more so you can build Blue Buff + Void ideally

Economy Strategy
  1. Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
  2. Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
  3. Level to 6 if on 4+ win streak (scout to see if necessary in high elo) or can stay above 40g.
  4. Level to 6, unless you would go below 30g. If you have to stay level 5 due to low gold (rare), then level to 6 on 3-5.
  5. Level to 7 if you can stay above 30g, otherwise stay level 6.
  6. Level to 7.
  7. Level to 8. Roll for desired comp until stable. “Stable” changes depending on rank, items, augments, composition, and patch. Melee carries and tanks get the biggest spike for 2-stars. Usually stable involves 2-star tank or carry and some other supporting 2-stars. Try not to roll below 10g.
  8. If you are weak (e.g., have no 2-star 4-costs), consider rolling again to 10g here. If you are stable, save gold to go 9.
  9. If you are low HP and haven’t 2-starred your carry and tank, roll to 0g. If you have medium to high HP with an upgraded + itemized 4-cost unit and some other upgrades, save gold to go 9.
  10. If high HP, consider waiting until 5-5 to go level 9. If medium HP, consider going level 9 if you can roll 20g or wait until 5-5. If low HP and can afford to go 9, do so even if you have almost no gold to roll on 9. If you can’t afford to go 9 this game, roll every turn for upgrades.
  11. Level to 9 if possible. From this point onward, look to level to 9. Acknowledge games where level 9 is not possible and roll every turn on 8 to preserve placements.
  12. For max cap games, you can either roll on 9 or level to 10. If you are itemizing a 5-cost carry and it is 1-starred, roll on 9. If you have all your main itemized units upgraded, level to 10.

    I want to ask why there isn’t a Sniper’s Focus Gwen filter option for Sorcerer (including Soul Fighter)?

    I cannot for the life of me make Sorcs work in any capacity. I always just bottom4 even with manazane karma and zonyas geen perfect items.

    I think max cap with emblem on 9 is Ryze, Zyra -> Leona, Xin Zhao for 4 bastion (with swain and braum)

    Unless you have some great items for Zyra, she’s not gonna do that much and 2 strategists barely matters

    I had solo frontline leona sorc and she was doing 9k+ damage a fight

    I think Bullet Hell Lucian should be on here as a potential carry. Main issue is how to get to 3* while keeping Econ for fast 8. Moonlight augment works well here since we only have 1 one cost. Lucian did 15000 damage one round stage 5 for me

    Can´t say why is Tier S.You have no frontline. Has some useless champs like lux or ryze that costs a lot but without objects they do nothing. A Karma lvl2 rarely oneshot any one and she usually takes a step up when second casting and gets targeted by enemy carriers. Only time i feel powerful was with a sorcerer emblem that gave me a karma at lvl7.

    Ah! And dont forget that this is a lvl9 comp. Meaning that until them you will have to survive with a 2 stars swain and jarvan against fully equipped sharpspotters or the crew.

      Definitely impossible. Winning initial streak. The gold augment that gives you 4hp and gold each carroussel. Decided to toss Lux, Ryze and Ahri when Karma to have some frontline. Got into top 3. Perfect items in Karma 2 stars, recovered 6 sorc at lvl9, Braum 2, Gwen 2, Perfect items Jarvan 2…No damage. Losing against Jhin and Mundo. Why i ended winning? Karma 3 stars.

      That´s. You only need perfect winning stream + gold augment + hp augment + lvl 9 + perfect items + karma 3 stars + Braum and Gwen 2…Ez GG.

    If you hit Gwen 2 with Hemorrhage there’s basically nothing that can stop you short of some 3* 4 costs

    had a stragiest emblem, manazane and sniper focus and full board level 9 and still couldnt beat the new gp kaboku reroll with only sniper focus.. that thing should be god tier

    question if you hit the isekai augment. do you itemize/snax the ekko? also how do you position ekko?

      no always itemize gwen and karma first, he is just op in the comp cuz u get a free +1 sorc and get to drop one of the shitters for a better fronline unit and ekko freezes whole board for both sides while karmas ability is still working like there is no freeze, so she is still able to kill and proc sorc while the enemy board cant move.

    Got a Strategist Emblem as my first augment and used this guide to build the comp. Then throughout the game, gave me a ton of spatulas and I decided to keep adding Strategists. Ended the game with 6/5 Strategists, and put the emblems on Lucian, Ahri, Lux, and Swain. I think I took the “S –> OP” too far.

    Strategist Emblem turns this comp into OP tier but it’s not a filterable condition on the Tier List. Just thought I’d point that out. Also not sure it’s worth building out a new comp dropdown for it but the best holder I’m assuming is an extra sorc that you just place next to Karma?

      Fixed that bug — thanks for pointing it out. And yes, you need to get value out of the Strat Emblem for it to be any good so you put it next to Karma in backline (and another backliner unless it would screw you against Jarvan) or you can put it next to two frontliners.

    I’m a little confused. For the comp to go from A to S tier do you need one artifact and one of the augments or both artifacts and none of the augments or what?

      For the list of +1 Tier Conditions, any SINGULAR one of them will raise the comp to S-tier (at the time of writing this comment). For the list of +2 tier conditions, any SINGULAR one of them will raise it to S+ tier. The more you have, the stronger the comp gets. But only one is necessary for the improvement that is shown.
