Tips & Tricks
- This is a new way to play Mighty Mech in Patch 15.4. Generally only play from spots where you are far ahead on number of Lucian / Senna early
- Drift Duo enables you to play 7 Mighty Mech without hitting Yone. Once you hit Yone, however, it might be worth removing the fruit for a different option and itemize Karma over Lucian. For now, most players are keeping the fruit.
- Play Executioner Lee Sin over Gangplank if you decide to keep the fruit.

Economy Strategy
- This is an uncommon econ strategy. Most of the time, there are zero comps in the meta that use it.
- Do not spend gold on leveling this stage. If you have 2-stars and a good item, you can consider playing to win some rounds. Otherwise lose streak is common for stage 2.
- Roll to 33 gold, buying any unit that will be part of the level 4 or 5 board. You can also buy units that will be part of the level 6+ board, but you can sell those if your bench fills and you need to buy other units. Rolling to 33 gold is advisable because it allows you to save back up to 50g by 3-5.
- Do not level if you haven’t hit your 3-star 1-costs yet. If you have your 3-stars, you generally should still stay level 5 if you can win or if leveling to 6 would put you below 20g. Try to get above 40g this round.
- Ideally above 50g, level 5 at this point or level 6 with 3-stars.
- If you haven’t hit your 3-stars yet, roll to ~52g each turn. You don’t want to roll to perfect 50g as any units you buy in shop will put you below 50g. If you have 8+ copies of an itemized 1-cost, you can roll to 40g or 30g every round instead. Level to 6 once you hit your 3-stars.
- If you haven’t hit your 3-stars yet, you must roll until you hit them. You should level to 6 after hitting. In some rare games, you will miss or spend so much gold you can never catch up. These games will usually result in bottom 4 placements.
- Level to 7 if you can stay above ~30g. Otherwise stay level 6.
- Level to 7. Slow roll for the next full stage for 3-cost 3 star.
- Level to 8 if you’ve hit your 3-cost 3 star. Stay level 7 and roll for it otherwise.
- Level to 8 if you’ve hit your 3-cost 3 star. At this point, you’re likely dead if you haven’t hit it yet.

Pandora’s Bench feels incredibly strong with this comp, you can get early senna 3 while rolling for lucian 3 or early lucian 3 for more tempo, or get the early karma/jarvan for 7 mech. Especially helpful when mech is contested
Could add Stars are Born here, as an improving Condition, couldn’t you?
Is it possible to get both Drift Duo on Lucian and Senna? I’ve only played two games with the comp, but have been able to find Drift Duo first try for Lucian, but I’ve never hit drift duo on Senna. Do we know whether Drift Duo is more likely to appear on earlier vs later stages (like how Mech Pilot is more easily found later due to other power ups being removed from the pool).
Why would you want it on both? I assume it’s not possible, since it would be just a wasted Power Up. Only need it on either Lucian or Senna.
Just wanted to let you know: You don’t need Drift Duo on BOTH, Lucian AND Senna. It works fine if you only have it on Lucian.
Updated, thanks for the heads up. Still have it on both to indicate it can be on either, but the tips have been updated so they no longer suggest you need it on both.
Yeah, wasn’t sure when reading either, so I just played and tested it. Thanks for all the effort. Helping me figure out this stuff after not playing for ages.
when should i look for drift duo one lucian? the pages with rhe power ups havent been upgraded yet so i dont know when its advised to try to hit it and until which stage it is available.
According to metatft.com, Stage 2 and 3 have the best odds. Stage 3 slightly better than 2. But I’ve just put a powerup on lucian, if i had one early, to see. It’s like 26% chance.
