Tips & Tricks
- Expect this to get nerfed into the ground. It might be the most broken unit of all time, including Syndra from Set 12.
- Based on the data, you don’t even need to roll for 3 star Veigar. Just hit the 3 star Shyvana and push levels for strongest board, playing Brawlers + Dragonsoul.
- Blue Buff and Quicksilver (QSS) are mandatory on Shyvana. Edge of Night can be replaced with Titans or Bloodthirster

Economy Strategy
- Level to 4 if strong.
- Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
- Level to 6, unless it places you below 30g.
- Stay level 6, unless you can stay above 50g on 7 or you are below 40 HP and can stay above 30g on 7.
- Level to 7, roll until board mostly upgraded. Never go below 10g even if missing tank or carry.
- Build up to 50g, slow roll to 50g until 5-1.
- If below ~25 HP, sometimes you must roll until you hit here. Not ideal.
- Roll until you hit 3-star carry and tank. Can go to 0g. Only greed gold if you are above ~60 HP.
- If you hit, you can level to 8. Otherwise stay 7. Holds true for every round for the rest of the game.

Yeah this feels extremely unfair. Good thing it’s just a Set Revival.
i played with fully adaptive augment instead of blue. board with 2* sett beat 4 star nasus and 3 star morgana with some positioning changes. 3* shy did more damage than sett…. lol. anyway, maybe it’s a mana/cast bug and not really with the blue buff? idk, just wanted to note that i played without blue buff.
Yeah not blue buff only, it looks like any mana regen on Shyv makes her multi cast, blue buff is just really good at it. Even a HoJ gets her like 40% of the way to another cast.
some people say its a bannable exploit. is it?
One person mentioned that Shyvana shouldn’t be able to cast multiple times (I haven’t played Set 4.5 before, just played one game of Revival to try this out) and she definitely casts multiple times with this build so it might be a bug with Blue Buff. I HEAVILY doubt it would classify as an “exploit”, which carries specific meaning from Riot’s perspective. From all the times I’ve heard clarification on bugs vs. exploits in the past, this is how I’ve understood it:
– Bugs are classified as unintended behaviors in the game that a player would naturally engage with. They can be either beneficial or detrimental. In this case, it is natural to place items on Shyvana. It is expected player behavior to look and see what is the best items on her via a stats website and see Blue Buff is the best and place it on her. Therefore, even if Blue Buff is bugged for a beneficial interaction with Shyvana, Riot wouldn’t expect players to never do it because it’s unrealistic for every player to know that it causes unintended behavior.
– Exploits are classified as unintended BENEFICIAL behaviors in the game that a player must act in an UNNATURAL way to take advantage of. A clear-cut example would be you are required to buy Shyvana chosen, sell it, buy it back again, add the Blue Buff, then remover it, and add it back again for the bug to happen. Very few if ANY players would naturally do this. Therefore, it’s pretty clear that any player who does this repeatedly across games is exploiting the bug.
Here’s a grey area example of an exploit:
Let’s say that the Blue Buff interaction only works if you remover the Shyvana every round and equip the Blue Buff AFTER she transforms the first time. This is possible in the revival set because all players are given a golden remover. I would treat this as an exploit, but it might be possible Riot could classify this as just a bug because it MIGHT be natural for a player to think that Blue Buff is supposed to work after transformation (i.e: there has been some precedence of equipping items to champions AFTER they transform in the past such as Corrupt Vampiric Scepter).

However, all of these examples are moot because this build works without doing anything special. The only reason I found out about it was looking up stats via the MetaTFT explorer which is a normal player behavior. I do think there is a good chance it’s a bug though since Blue Buff got reworked since the last set revival, so it would make sense that they weren’t aware of how it might impact certain champions that are only meant to cast once (I don’t know how Shyvana is supposed to behave normally). Regardless, I’m pretty sure this would classify as a “bug” and not an “exploit” based on Riot’s previous wording.
stick a mage emblem on for unholy levels of shyvana
how did u even find out this comp
This comp can even beat Cultist 11 crab, it is so broken. Is blue buff on Shyvana some sort of bug abuse? I saw something that said she isn’t supposed to cast more than once and blue buff changes that somehow.
Brother ngl. This comp sucks ass and you get hard countered by Kallista.
Okay, you go ahead and not play it and let other people abuse it. Shyvana 3 averages a 1.8 with these 3 craftable items. Never happened in the history of TFT. Not since Set 8 at least. The closest we got was Jayce averaging roughly the same with Silvermere Dawn in Set 15. Didn’t have Chosen that set to make it easy and required an artifact. This requires NOTHING. Repeatable every single game. As long as you aren’t a complete bot and actually use the tempo that Shyvana provides you, you can probably win close to half your games as long as no one else is playing Shyvana.
this comp goes fucking crazy won 3 in a row nobody using it
