Tips & Tricks
- This comp wants to make Darius as strong as possible. Augments that spike his power are high priority. Perfect items are also highly desirable in this line so augments that give you items and item selection are typically good.
- Darius must have permanent CC immunity. There are two main sources: 1) Titan’s Resolve; or 2) Silvermere Dawn. Quicksilver is NOT acceptable. The other 2 items are flexible. Sterak’s, Adaptive, and most tank items are good options.
- Unlock Bard if you have any augment that provides you free rolls or if you are extremely rich on a lose streak.
- Axioms are good in this line because you should not build utility onto Darius or onto your primary backline carry. It should go without saying, but do not click Air Axiom in the AP versions of this comp or Water Axiom in the AD versions of this comp (check the dropdown to see other variations).
- There are MANY different variations of Darius. The most common option is the Noxus version. Draven is not as strong as some other 3-cost carry options, but his gold generation helps hit on or ahead of tempo. The AP units typically have better backline damage.
- Solo frontline Darius during Stage 3 (if he’s well itemized) and sometimes during Stage 4 depending on how good your setup is (augments, artifacts, radiants, etc.). Past 4-5, avoid solo frontlining in most cases unless you have an augment, artifact, or radiant item on Darius.

Economy Strategy
- Level to 4 if strong.
- Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
- Level to 6, unless it places you below 30g.
- Stay level 6, unless you can stay above 50g on 7 or you are below 40 HP and can stay above 30g on 7.
- Level to 7, roll until board mostly upgraded. Never go below 10g even if missing tank or carry.
- Build up to 50g, slow roll to 50g until 5-1.
- If below ~25 HP, sometimes you must roll until you hit here. Not ideal.
- Roll until you hit 3-star carry and tank. Can go to 0g. Only greed gold if you are above ~60 HP.
- If you hit, you can level to 8. Otherwise stay 7. Holds true for every round for the rest of the game.

Hard countered by every AP line. 4 invokers or hard forced lux + annie
a curious positioning is to have darius solo frontline BUT have your 2nd and 3rd strongest tanks in the 2nd row from front, in the left and right corners
this will make the tanks target darius thus stacking his titan’s, but their corner carries will target your other tanks first
max cap with ambessa + mel on 9, not very hard with draven 3, even 2.
I feel like you can cap it even further with azir and shurima along with mel if you get really lucky and pull those units early. If you pull Azir and Ambessa stage 3, final board transition can be something like azir mel swain darius renekton taric sylas shyvana + 1 unit. Honestly possible as long as you get the azir early and use shurima units to tempo

mittens is giga broken on darius, it gives immunity to antiheal which works extremely well for him given that his kit is basically heals
Did this with pandoras bench, howly 3* 3s and then move to 3* the 4s
