Tips & Tricks
- Build a Bud and Worth the Wait are only strong if you hit Kayle as it allows you to push levels instead of roll. It is not good if you hit one of the other 1-costs in the comp.
- Kayle reroll is not like other 1-cost reroll comps. You MUST get to 9 early stage 5 ideally or it is likely a bot 4. This means you can generally only play Kayle from good spots. This is NOT a forceable line.
- In Patch 15.7, Rageblade was buffed back to its original state at the start of Set 15. It is one of Kayle’s best items again and you can safely slam it, but you can also still use the no Rageblade builds as well with Red Buff + GS if your items support it.

Economy Strategy
- Do not spend gold on leveling this stage. If you have 2-stars and a good item, you can consider playing to win some rounds. Otherwise lose streak is common for stage 2.
- Roll to 33 gold, buying any unit that will be part of the level 4 or 5 board. You can also buy units that will be part of the level 6+ board, but you can sell those if your bench fills and you need to buy other units. Rolling to 33 gold is advisable because it allows you to save back up to 50g by 3-5.
- Do not level if you haven’t hit your 3-star 1-costs yet. If you have your 3-stars, you generally should still stay level 5 if you can win or if leveling to 6 would put you below 20g. Try to get above 40g this round.
- Ideally above 50g, level 5 at this point or level 6 with 3-stars.
- If you haven’t hit your 3-stars yet, roll to ~52g each turn. You don’t want to roll to perfect 50g as any units you buy in shop will put you below 50g. If you have 8+ copies of an itemized 1-cost, you can roll to 40g or 30g every round instead. Level to 6 once you hit your 3-stars.
- If you haven’t hit your 3-stars yet, you must roll until you hit them. You should level to 6 after hitting. In some rare games, you will miss or spend so much gold you can never catch up. These games will usually result in bottom 4 placements.
- Level to 7 if you can stay above ~20g. Otherwise stay level 6.
- Level to 7.
- Level to 8 if you are in bottom half of lobby HP and are losing rounds. If you are higher HP and feel stable, you can wait until next turn.
- Level to 8 if you haven’t already. Roll for any remaining units necessary for the comp. If stable, you can try to go 9. Most games you will end on level 8.
- Level to 9 whenever possible. This is rare, but can happen in the games you have a chance of winning.

So far from trying in low master ladder, this comp is literally high roll lobby magnet where you will just get murdered on whole stage 4 x). Joke aside, high risk high reward comp. If you can hit Kayle 3 on 3-1 + natural k’sante on stage 4 then high chance to win out but if you hit Kayle 3 later than 3-5 it’s probably bot 4 since you will used up too much gold on reroll and won’t have any left for pushing lvl 9. In that case, just play for best placement and pray for the prismatic orb with lots of gold and high roll on the natural units. Zac 3 is ideal since he helps stabilizing your stage 4 but not needed, do not roll solely for Zac.
hello i have perma top1 on games where i get sniper embles on 2-1 and force kayle 3 6 wraiths, myb worth adding to ur comp
Just made a game with worth the wait so Kayle 3 in 2-6, is it necessary to look for a zac 3 instead of pushing levels the fastest i can ?
Thanks a lot for your site, i look at it everyday & the work is very impressive.
<3
if u find kayle early always push
Agreed. I (try) and roll for Zac 3 on 9 most times i run this. Ideally have 5-7 copies before pushing levels and the only possible exception is if you have a guaranteed way to get 9 (winstreaking/really strong econ)
Shoutout Atomic on Zac, synergy with Wraith. More lobby damage on round wins and makes losses closer, saves a lot of HP on the way to 9.
Skip Zac 3 if you hit Kalye 3?
Please consider keen eye over golden edge. From my calculation, keen eye shred 20% breaks even doublestrike (assuming 0 doublestrike delay, a pure 1.25x on top) on around 95 MR targets
any though on kayle heavyweight reroll ?
solid (and possibly theoretical strongest) flex lvl 7 and lvl 8 board with 4 heavyweights or even 6 heavy, not sure about rolling for darius 3/jayce 3 though.
im seeing that the best performing kayle build doesnt use guinsoo and run red buff,gs,jg any idea on what powerup they use?
I still like Over 9000 with that build.
Good guide. Also, in my experience, calculated loss sometimes helps hitting Kayle 3 and other essential 3* sooner.
isnt leveling to 9 priority after hitting 3 star kayle and zac? seeing as she ascends at 9. it does a lot of extra damage
The econ strategy is generic for 1-cost reroll. Kayle is different from most 1-cost reroll in the past. Maybe could add a new econ strategy JUST for this comp, as it is different. Maybe will add some tips to make it clear it’s not like most 1-cost reroll. To answer your question, yes: You need level 9 with Kayle or you are bot 4.
why gauntlet on kayle if she has no ability? does it make the wave crit?
Good question tho !
Went crazy with Final Form on Kayle!! Fun comp!!
