- Dr. Mundo’s build is relatively solved: Rageblade or Nashor + Infinity Edge. Last item always wants to be Striker’s, but Giant Slayer / Deathblade / Hand of Justice are acceptable.

Economy Strategy
- Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
- Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
- Level to 6. Roll until stable. “Stable” changes depending on rank, items, augments, composition, and patch, but generally speaking it involves 2-starring your desired 2-cost carry and a tank with items. Major divergence between elos: The lower your elo, the less upgrades you need to be “stable” and thus lower elo players should generally roll less than high elo players on 3-2.
- After your 3-2 rolldown, you should attempt to rebuild your economy to 50g.
- Once you reach 50g (it might be later than 3-5), start slow rolling down to ~52g each turn. Try to avoid rolling to exactly 50g as any unit you want to buy in shop will put you below 50g.
- If you are high HP relative to the lobby, continue slow rolling to 52g each turn. If you are lower HP, you should roll to hit your first 2-cost 3 star on 4-1 or 4-2. If you have to roll below 30g, your placement is usually capped at 3rd or 4th.
- If you are still high HP (70+), you can continue to slow roll. Otherwise, in the majority of cases, you should roll deep for your 3-stars here. If your HP is low, you can even go to 0 gold looking for your 3-stars. If you have your 3-stars and can afford to level to 7 with 10g+, do so.
- Level to 7 if you haven’t already.
- Level to 8 as soon as possible. This may not happen until 5-5 or in some games, stage 6.
- Level to 9 whenever possible. This is rare, but can happen in the games you have a chance of winning.
I have succeeded better with the nashor route than the rageblade route. I felt I proc`d more of my ability with the nashor route than the rageblade route.
why is nashors better than rageblade now ?
Don’t know that it actually is, the data suggests it COULD be and I was hoping more people would try it because of this website (the data STILL suggests it COULD be better), but the sample is still way too small. My GUESS right now is that they are nearly the same, but we’ll probably never know because TFT Flow doesn’t have the pull to meaningfully have people try out the build so I might just switch it back to Rageblade as the main build and Nashor as an alt build.
Heavyweight emblem and playing 6 heavyweight is OP tier.
What augment do you put on voli if you get all items on him? I had his reccomended items here but i still itemized bruam cuz i had steraks + protectors and titans, but he was only 1* while i had voli 2*. Ended up second.
Thoughts on best power up for Mundo? How is stretchy arms or crimson veil on him?
Just tried this and it’s actually incredibly strong. Mundo 2 with 4 jug board is enough to win most of stage 3 which is important with how tempo heavy this patch seems.
why does mundo want over 9000 over max vitality? it seems inconsistent
Idk which is better but I will say that the mana regen and AP(actually pretty significant splash dmg boost per ap gain and you can’t rly get ap otherwise) feels real nice.
You guys are COMPLETELY lost. I usually don’t respond to people making comments about how good or bad a comp is since it’s usually just one guy’s opinion, but this is 3 different people (one person commented twice) saying the comp is bad. Let’s be clear: This is BY FAR one of the most BROKEN augments to EVER exist in ALL of TFT’s history. It probably averages in the high 3s right now. Please do NOT listen to the people in this comment section. On Patch 15.4b, hero augments are completely disgusting and are taking over the game. Do not have results-oriented thinking.
got sniper’s focus and still got top 7 lol
this is bad
not good, mundo is too slow
Honestly, it’s not even close to S tier. C maybe B with good augments/items. Lose to pretty much every comp. Mundo is too slow, consistent bottom 4 comp.
New radiant nashors is very op with IE guinsoos.
Well, in silver it works perfect.
useless guys dont go
im low elo and this bs just got me first place started the game in first up until stage 4 and then went to 12 hp but then managed to win streak into first from last with 5 people left VERY fun game but complete brain rot
I tried it for fun, but I didn’t realize it was that low of a tier, and ended up in the top 8. Lost to comps with hero augments as well, Neeko and Vi. However, it could be unlucky, didn’t have a good opener, and juggs were contested.
D tier comp. This gets beaten by 99% of fast 8 comps. Only go if you get a 2 star mundo 1-1 with BIS. You can afford to lose enough hp to just barely eek out a 4th.
Agreed, updated to D-tier. Thanks for reminding me.
