Tips & Tricks
- Use every single power remover on Gangplank to get Stretchy Arms. If you miss, higher prio of replacing IE with Edge of Night. Wait until Stage 4 to use all your power removers as there are several power ups removed from the pool after Stage 3
- The only rule of the level 6 board so far is always play around Mighty Mech. Outside of that, it is completely fine to play 2 or even 3 Mentor in some cases. Play whatever you have, try to hold onto the Mentors and if it becomes too expensive, feel free to play multiple on your board.
- Should roll a decent amount on 6, but want to go level 7 by 4-2 as hitting Ryze is quite important. The 2 star board can win some fights in Stage 4 with 4 Mentor, although it will get run over by any fast 8 players that hit.
- Itemizing Yasuo is important, as even Yasuo 2 will do a lot for your board with 4 Mentor. Consider taking an item augment so you can itemize Kobuko + Gangplank + Yasuo sooner.
- Edge of Night looks much better than IE in stats, but much lower sample size. Consider it, especially if it is your only available slam.

Economy Strategy
- This is an uncommon econ strategy. Sometimes there are zero comps in the meta that use it.
- Level to 4 if you have upgrades and a good item to place on one of those upgrades.
- Level to 5, unless on 3 loss streak.
- Level to 6. Roll until stable. “Stable” changes depending on rank, items, augments, composition, and patch, but generally speaking it involves 2-starring your desired 2-cost carry and a tank with items. Major divergence between elos: The lower your elo, the less upgrades you need to be “stable” and thus lower elo players should generally roll less than high elo players on 3-2.
- After your 3-2 rolldown, you should attempt to rebuild your economy to 50g.
- Once you reach 50g (it might be later than 3-5), start slow rolling down to ~52g each turn. Try to avoid rolling to exactly 50g as any unit you want to buy in shop will put you below 50g.
- Unlike 2-cost reroll, you generally cannot afford to dip below 50g this stage. If you have to due to HP, you’re likely going to end up in a bottom 4 placement. Slow roll to ~53g this stage, picking up your 2-costs and 3-costs.
- In some metas, this econ strategy levels to 7 here and slow rolls at 50g until stage 5. If you have high HP, you can defer going level 7 until 4-5.
- Level to 7 if you didn’t on 4-2 and continue to slow roll above 50g.
- Roll to 0g, trying to hit your key 2 and 3-cost 3 stars. You’ll want your carry and tank upgraded at a minimum.
- From this point onward, attempt to level to 8 and add any key remaining units to your board.
Kinda already sick of seeing this comp haha I don’t even see capped boards beating this in my lobbies anymore
This is giga busted. My go-to Lv6 comp is: Aatrox – Kalis – Gang – Kobuko – Luci(placeholder for Senna, I always hit her in stage 2 smh) – Viego(holder for Yas). Lv7 in 4-1 cuz Kobuko is not that important, Udyr can tank anyway. You can go 5 Mech while looking for Ryze
feels giga S with sword overflow for yasuo and bronzeforlife in pris lobbys so far. yasuo just oneshots frontline shitters and gp can snipe backline for free
Watanabe Kai just made a video reviewing this comp and he thinks 4 juggernaut with mundo vi is the best frontline you can have for level 6 if you find the udyr
Tried first time – went #1, but with 2 Radiant Items. Early / Mid game Kalista (itemholder GP) with 4 Juggers. Had to remove snax 4x to get stretchy arms. Before it was enough Midgame, fall of Late tho. 3* I Hit: GP, Yasuo, Kobuko, Udyr. Radiant: Guinsoos on GP, Warmogs on Kobuko. Highrolled all of that at the end. Probably not representative, but steamrolled even 6 Sorc. Hardest Fights were against Kayle (Hate her). I would say stretchy arms is a must. Unstoppable on Kobuko fine. You definitely need good frontline early / mid.
played 1 game in gold and came 2nd. made udyr my main tank because i got udyr 2 before kobuko. hit GP 3 Udyr 3 Kobuko 3 Yasuo 3. lost to all out k’sante because of poor positioning.
comp is fun but gets difficult when GP dies early.
put it out of b ts is legit the best comp in the game and by a wide margin, yasuo 3 is a must and must be rerolled for (so is stretchy arms on gp even tho tiny menace or trickster can work), max cap out is on 5 mechs ( yone + j4, you play senna on 7 usually)
https://tactics.tools/player/euw/lightning%20blue/EUW my stats to give myself a lil bit of credibility
Need more before I can move it up a tier (e.g: its stats are getting worse rapidly right now as play rate goes up, although that’s expected). Does feel like it would be really good to hit Yasuo, so I updated for that. I still feel like Jarvan is ideal over Senna on 7 if you aren’t itemizing Ryze, but again will be open minded on that as I see more games of it played at the higher levels.
(i meant tiny terror not menace mb xd)
Tried it today in Gold Elo and went #1 against 6 sorcs and 7 crystal gambit. Very funny comp, i think it requires Stretchy Arms, otherwise enemy backline survives for to long. Kobuko unstoppable also big power up. I did manage lvl 9 on 6-1 though. GP generated lots of gold.
