  • Visionary Emblem is stronger than Sentinel Emblem. Both allow you to spike on level 8 though as they allow you to play 6 Visionary with 4 Sentinel or 6 Sentinel with 4 Visionary.
  • Pizza-style positioning is to maximize Renata ability value. Biggest punish is Elise, but many top levels still recommend this position. Main counter is enemy splitting frontline so Renata angle on frontline is bad.
  • Both 6 Visionary and 6 Sentinel are major spikes. Most games 6 Visionary is played, but you should play whatever you have a better units for.
  • While 4-Star Singed is strong, it might not be possible for you to survive 4 rounds without an anomaly. Don’t take Ultimate Hero if you’re likely to die before 5-3.
  • Both Sentinel and Visionary crown give a good item and allow you to spike on level 8, so they are likely good augments.
  • Rell is often played as tank now instead of Singed if possible.
  • Morgana 3 is a very strong secondary carry if you can get Blue Buff + Gunblade on her, although this is easier said than done as your first priority is Renata and tank items. Only take One Buff, Two Buff if you have a Morgana 3 to itemize.

Economy Strategy
  1. This is an uncommon econ strategy. Sometimes there are zero comps in the meta that use it.
  2. Do not spend gold on leveling this stage. If you have 2-stars and a good item, you can consider playing to win some rounds. Otherwise lose streak is common for stage 2.
  3. Unlike 1-cost reroll, stay above 50g for entirety of stage 3. Slow roll to ~52g for the remainder of the stage, buying all necessary 1-costs and 2-costs.
  4. If you haven’t hit your 3-stars yet, you must roll until you hit them. Level to 6 after hitting. You should be close to having a 2-cost 3-star unit as well. In some cases, you can level to 6 before hitting all 1-costs if you have many copies of your 1-costs, but not many of your 2-cost.
  5. Level to 6 if you haven’t.
  6. Level to 7 if you can stay above 20g, otherwise stay level 6.
  7. Level to 7 if you haven’t.
  8. Level to 8. Most likely end the game on 8, so roll for remaining important units. If far ahead, can save and try to go 9 in stage 6.
